700 South Deli & Catering

What are a disappointment. The pit beef sandwich was bland and cold, very cold. The mac & cheese was very buttery and not very cheesy, the baked beans were fairly decent.
I literally ended up throwing it away and going somewhere else.

700 South Deli is a great catering option. They are very easy to work with, they double check your order to make sure you have everything needed, and their brownie platter is fantastic! Food was delivered on time - they separated vegetarian food for us. It was great.

I recently found this great little lunch spot near my office. Tried the chicken salad on my first visit and the turkey club on my next visit. Both sandwiches were overstuffed and cheaper than any carryout spot nearby. The potato salad is the best I've ever had and I love their super crunchy dill pickle that comes free with your sandwich. Awesome quiet little spot.
edited to add: the girl that answered the phone was SO nice when I called to place my order, unlike other places I've called.

Our business orders from 700 South Deli all the time for meetings. They are always on time. The food is always fresh and delicious! I highly recommend.

Ordered prepared foods for a house party. 700 S always delivers! Delicious Mac n cheese, broccoli salad, shrimp salad, etc. My guests loved everything, and no leftovers for me, lol!

I had tried their food through someone who had ordered catering, and I was blown away. Ordered catering for an office lunch it was top notch service; food was delicious and displayed beautifully. Have also stopped in for lunch which was great. I cannot say enough good things about this place and definitely recommend them.

I made a mistake on the number of attendees and called them less than an hour before the event and they were able to accommodate my additional order to arrive in time. I'm buying lunch for an working lunch meeting, 25 people with as many different tastes. I needed a restaurant with simple, straightforward ordering, payment and pickup, that can provide the quality, quantity and variety to satisfy this group, at a reasonable price.

So I typed in the URL for 700 South Deli in Linthicum, MD.

I was immediately presented with a vast menu of breakfast and lunch options, but from previous visits I knew exactly what to order: The Quick Pick Bag Lunch.

Quality: fresh breads, meats, cheeses, toppings and condiments prepared to order.

Quantity: 25, just order the day before and they are ready by 11:00am for lunch.

Variety: classic Turkey, Roast Beef, Corned Beef; multiple club options and an Italian CC sub; shrimp, tuna and chicken salads; wraps, including a veggie option. My favorite? The BLT, done right with plenty of bacon, crisp lettuce and thick, ripe tomato on wheat toast with a touch of mayo. Simple and delicious.

And each bag contains chips, a pickle, a drink and dessert with napkin and utensils, a completely self contained lunch.

Cost? About $20.00 person, quite comparable with the other big chain sandwich makers in the Linthicum area.

So consider 700 South Deli the next time you need a dozen or two lunches. Check the web site for their daily specials. And don't forget that they fire up the grill for pit beef, ham and turkey on Fridays.

Amazing food and service as always. Also the catering options are great and not over priced. Highly recommend 700 South!
