My sister and I order cookies from Mayflower and they were so good Im not sure who made the batch but it was delicious golden brown homemade cookies and perfectly baked. Since then we both knew we wanted to continue to purchase cookies from here but the last two times they have not been satisfying which has been such a disappointment!

I stopped in here on a Wednesday morning to pick up some pastry/snacks for an office event. I got the fruit mini empanadas and macaroons. They had a wide variety of the fruit mini empanadas, but only 2 or 3 flavors left of the macaroons. Everything tasted delicious. The empanadas were just right...not too heavy, not too sweet, not too stuffed to make a mess (important for office events). It was just right. The macaroons, even though the selection was small that morning (they only had chocolate, caramel, and lemon....I got the chocolate and caramel) were perfectly tasteful. That perfect balance of crisp and fluffy. The filling were the perfect consistency of stiff, fluffy, and creamy. The added benefit was that this place was actually opened early. So many other local bakeries open around 8-10am. This place was open at 7, which was just right to pick up the treats before heading to the office. I'll definitely be back for the next office event, hopefully they'll have a bigger variety if macaroons when I come back....all the colors make for a vibrant and happy event.

We ordered a basic vanilla birthday cake without having tried theirs before. We often go for cannolis and conchas, so expected quality. We were amazed by the results.
It was ordered for a 3PM pickup and was ready at exactly 3PM to keep it as fresh as possible.
The cake sliced like air, was very fluffy and soft. The layered cream was great and the frosting was light and airy. We dislike sweet cakes, especially standard frosting. This cake was not oversweet, easy to eat, and you didn't feel awful after like most cakes.
Definitely our go-to place for the future.

STAY AWAY! Placed an order for some pastries and there is MOLD on the bottom. Just awful. I am shocked a bakery would sell something like this. Just gross! Of course when I try to call it goes to voice mail and there is no one to talk to.
