Took my wife here for Valentine's day. We enjoy it. I had a flight of bourbon and my wife had a flight of wine with chocolates and cheese's for each wine selection. Talked to one of the owners. She was great and service was top notch.

This place has it all. Great atmosphere, staff, food, and libations. I took the wife for a date night for purely selfish reasons of wanting to sample some of the harder allocation bourbons, and ended up loving everything else about the Barrel 9. The staff were wonderful, the food was amazing and everything we ordered was top notch, and the bourbon and wine selection was choice. This will be a new go to spot for us and is what the SOMD area needs more of. 5/5 would highly recommend!

We've been to Barrel 9 a handful of times and every visit has been good from the food and drinks to the service. They have a great selection of craft cocktails and wine. I'm very particular about my martinis and I find they make one of the best dirty martinis in the area. We've ordered a variety of items off their menu and everything has been consistently good. The staff is always super friendly and offers up recommendations if you're undecided on what to order. There's ample parking as it's located in a shopping center but the space itself is relatively small. Just something to be mindful of since I'm sure it has the potential to get crowded later in the evenings. It's nice to finally have somewhere to go for craft cocktails and small plates. I'm a St. Mary's county resident and would love if we had something like this over here.
LOVE!!! Some of the best cocktails I have ever had. My absolute favorite was the salted caramel cider which was absolutely divine. My family and I (4 total) split a dessert board with our drinks. The board itself has everything you could want from fruit to cookies to marshmallows and chocolate with a variety of delightful dipping sauces. The servers are very knowledgeable about the products they sell and it's incredibly convenient that you can just buy something that you like (like I bought the salted caramel bourbon lol). It's nice to have a more upscale and luxe spot in Lusby for a glass of wine or a good cocktail and some dessert. Can't wait to come back!

Can I add another star?? Absolutely love this place! Finally, we have something down here like this instead of having to drive an hour to Annapolis or farther. I had the Barrel 9 Breeze, others had the Espresso Martini and Smoky Old Fashioned. All of which were excellent! We had the Smoked Salmon Crostini and Greek Flatbread small plates, also delicious. Our waitress was the best! Will definitely be going back!

My boyfriend found out about the place and insisted on trying them out. He was right !☺️We loved the place, the atmosphere, the drinks were soooo good and the food was jus yummy ?. The service, omg, very very very friendly, welcoming.It’s a must☺️

Food and drinks were very good but service was odd. The place was nearly dead on a weeknight when we got a table around 7pm. We ordered several small plates with our drinks, including a salad to share. The waitress made numerous comments though the evening about how much we ordered and called it a “buffet”. We were there for dinner and ordered a reasonable amount of food for 2. Do they not want people to eat? Weird enough that I’m not sure I’ll go back.
