Better place to grab a pint than to eat. They lost Shepard's pie on the menu, but instead serve a cottage pie. The atmosphere screams authentic Irish pub, but the recipes are decidedly American. The Guinness is great, which counts for a lot.

We used to love this place. Unfortunately their service and place has gone down hill. The bartender was extremely rude to both customers and waiters. There was only one waiter who was great and working super hard. We walked in and saw 4 or 5 tables completely filled with dirty plates, very unsanitary.
Kid-friendliness: I will say this is a great family place

Stopped by after the Irish festival at the fairgrounds. Fantastic service and great food. Not loud which is a great change instead of having blaring music like most places. Staff is super friendly and quick to fill drinks. The reuben was probably one of the best I've had in a long time. Shredded corned beef instead of sliced was really fresh and just soooo good. 10/10 great spot.

Came for dinner, no hostess. A sign off to the side said to seat myself and grab a menu, so I went to seat myself. No menus in sight. I sat for 10 minutes waiting. No staff even remotely came near me, they didnt ever leave the bar area. Guess if you're not at the bar, you're shit out of luck. Eventually I just left

Bangers and Mash is the way to go! Crab pretzel was great, too. Had dinner right by fire on a cool fall evening.

The food was very very bland. Adding salt, pepper, and hot sauce couldn’t even save these dishes! I wish I could put zero stars but my post won’t go through without one. Will not be coming back.
I've been on a bit of a kick to get a good fish and chips meal but I keep being disappointed. We stopped by for a late lunch after an event at the Fairgrounds. I ordered the fish and chips (with a Guinness of course) and my wife ordered the Salmon BLT. Service was top notch.
The fish & chips were the best I've had in a very long time. Hot, crispy, and flaky and the Guinness was a perfect match.
My wife wasn't too thrilled with her BLT. She said the Salmon was a bit dry and there was too much bread. She ended up pulling the sandwich apart and eating it without the bread.
I'll definitely be back for the fish. We'll just make sure my Wife orders something different next time.

Outside of the horrid experience that was the waiter basically ignoring my fiancee, we went there for the breakfast buffet that I remember from years back, and it was awful.
All the trays were uncovered so everything was cold, and after 1 plate I was done. They did have a nice variety of things to eat, from breakfast staples, to some bagels, and some steamed shrimp. Otherwise take your $20 and go to another establishment on York road. You'll definitely get more for your money.

I went here with my fiance yesterday for Brunch.
I had the worst experience I have had at a restaurant in a long time.
The waiter was a guy who looked to be in his early 20's.
He sat us, asked what we wanted to drink, and left basically as soon as my fiance answered him, and didn't get what I wanted to drink, never asked after that point either.
Brought my fiance his coffee, brought us 2 waters.
He asked us if we wanted to do their brunch buffet, my fiance said he would, I asked what was in it.
He told me what was in it and I said I didn't want to do that and told him what I wanted to order.
He just decided on his own that I in fact did want the buffet that I said I didn't want.
After my fiance basically finished his food, this whole time I thought I was waiting for mine I said "How much do you want to bet he just decided I was getting the buffet too"
I went to the bathroom, partially to try and calm myself down, and 2/3 stalls had 0 toilet paper in them. Mind you, this place hadn't been open for that long and there was only 1 other table there aside from us.
When I came back, my fiance told me that he told the waiter that I didn't ask for the buffet, and told him what I wanted.
I had my food within 5 minutes of coming back from the bathroom, but guess what! The only thing about it that was hot was the bowl they served it to me in, and the melted cheese on top. Otherwise the entire thing was still cold and congealed, like they just microwaved it and didn't do it for long enough or something.
As long as I have a say I will never return to this place.
Save yourself the frustration honestly.
