We have recently become regular customers of Gibby's and have not been disappointed. Most recently, we decided to get a dozen xl crabs for Valentine's Day. They were *fantastic* crabs, and--as crab lovers of 50+ years--we don't use that term loosely. They were filled out and delicious. We have had one less-than-great experience with seafood from Gibby's, and they were happy to make it right. We appreciate Gibby's variety and freshness of products. How many places can you find fresh stone crab claws, as well as steamed crabs, fresh fish, shrimp, and more than a dozen types of oysters in shell?

Stopped in this afternoon and ordered a fried shrimp platter and a side of fried clams. Both portions were filling for the price. I will be back!

I love Gibby’s, been going for a long time. They always have a great oyster selection and more fresh and frozen seafood options than you can think of. I have never gotten anything cooked there so I can’t speak to that. Their coddies and salmon cakes are great, try one of the desserts. Prices are on point too. My only complaints are the kids working there are some times ding dongs and the parking sucks. Other wise it’s hard to find a local seafood market this perfect in an area that claims to be all about seafood, so support Gibby’s cause if they leave you’ll be buying seafood at Giant, 🤮.

Absolutely not what I expected for a first experience. I ordered two salmon sandwiches with one having the bread on the side. Well the bread was not on the side and the pieces of salmon were so small that it was more like a bread sandwich with salmon instead of a salmon sandwich with bread. I had missing items and when I called to complain, I was told that I was not billed for the missing items as if that made it right that they did not include them. I also ordered garlic Parmesan chicken wings which were very thick and slimy and nasty and there was no seasoning on the chicken as if they just poured sauce on the chicken and didn’t season the chicken at all. When I called and explained my issue, I felt like I was being brushed off instead of having my issue addressed. I then asked to speak with a manager and was told I was speaking with a manager named Amanda, who I believe is the person that took my order. She said she would take care of it, but how could you take care of it when the only thing you said at the end of the conversation is “I’m sorry and goodbye”. I will absolutely NEVER eat here again!

The kids that staff this place need a good slap......along with the management who have been riding off a name for the last 25 years or soo.....you can get better seafood in a grocery store!!!!

My favorite place to get crabs! I usually get a half bushel of jambo crabs, and I am never disappointed! They also have a very extensive seafood menu. Can't wait to go back!!

How have I never left a review for epic gibbys?! My go-to in the state when I need shrimp, crabs, or anything in that wheel-house. I don’t know that I actually trust anyone else to cook them for me at this point. It’s my first stop when get in town, and my last when I leave. Don’t miss out on the best !

My first impression of Gibby's was a very positive one. While visiting the area, I needed to try a Maryland Crab Cake. I call Gibby's and place an order for 2 Crab Cakes and Corn Fritters. I had very high expectations, and I was not disappointed. The Crab was absolutely amazing. I certainly plan on coming back the next time I am in town.

I've been frequenting Gibby's for the better part of two decades now. They have always been top notch in every regard up until recent. A few months back my wife asked me to grab some Faroe Island Salmon, roughly 4-5lbs. After taking it home immediately, refrigerating it and cooking it the next day it had a very bad odor and was clearly bad. I went back into Gibby's and they apologized for the issue and one of the guys there wrote on an order pad my name and the lbs I had ordered and said I have credit that I can use the next time I come in. Well next time came around and they couldn't find that I had a credit and I said don't worry about it, I've come here enough that I can let it slide since it was a one off. The following couple of times the salmon was fine. But I went in a couple days ago closer to EOD and saw one of the girls emptying the salmon out of the tray and adding new full fillets in. I asked for 2lbs and requested it be from the newer fillets since I've had issues in the past. She assured me it was the same batch (I disagreed because there was a clear color difference between the two and one looked fresher than the other) I degrees and said fine no problem. Again my wife cooks it the next day and she again complains it's smelling and was very easily falling apart (another indication salmon has gone bad). After two decades of loyalty we'll be taking our business elsewhere. The quality and customer service we grew to love is no longer prevalent.

We always get our crabs here and they never fail to be fantastic. We also have eaten plenty of other dishes from here and it's always delicious.

Ordered 1/2 dozen jumbos and 16 XL crabs. They proceeded to put them all in one bag. How do you tell them apart. I asked that they be separated but it was worthless. Of the 6 supposed jumbos. 2 were basically empty. When I went in today with them they told me since I only brought the bodies not the shells there was nothing they could do about it. Even if I had brought the shells they probably would have told me they were the XL’s! Been a customer there for 30+ years. Never going back.

I frequent Gibby’s often because the service is always good and they’re conveniently located near my home. However this past Friday I preordered a half bushel of xl/jumbo females for Saturday. I picked them up and the box felt a little light. We got to the bottom of the box and it was stuffed with paper where more crabs should’ve been added. I was very disappointed.
