Best crab cake I have ever had!!

This is my go to seafood place. I’m here generally once a week and easily spend $60 each time- last week I got a very large soft crab that was an edible. The shell was like leather. All you could do is chew it up and spit it out. I took a photo as it was Saturday night and I thought they were closed on Sunday where I would’ve called. I went in today, they said I needed to bring them physical evidence or they would not issue a refund or a credit. Despite the fact that the manager and all the people that work there know me, they said it’s store policy that they need physical evidence. I should have frozen it and brought it in with me . The photo is not enough. I asked for an email to write to the Owner who set the policy and the young man who was the manager said he’s 83 he doesn’t really answer emails. I said so there’s no way to complain or ask for some consideration for a very loyal customer he said unfortunately no. I’m very disappointed the quality of their seafood is excellent this is the first time I’ve ever had an issue. You would think they would have the discretion to issue me a store credit for $10.99 but they’d rather have a disappointed customer.

Had a great experience at Gibby’s Seafood. We called around to several places and Gibby’s had the best prices on jumbo crabs — and they had them available same day. We did run into a minor issue with our order, but the team fixed it immediately and made it right without hesitation. Great customer service and great crabs. We’ll definitely be back.

They got the Best Shrimp, Cod fish cakes I have ever had before. If you want Seafood GO THERE you will NEVER be disappointed.

Tried Gibby's for the first time yesterday, ordered a couple dozen steamed crabs. They were just finishing steaming shortly after I arrived. Slightly smaller than I expected but very tasty and extremely heavy and packed with meat. Staff were friendly and it's very close to my work, I'll definitely do business with them again.

Great, first experience at Gibby’s! A delicious dozen of oysters.

I got the fried shrimp and my coworker got the shrimp salad sandwich. The employees were friendly, the place was clean. My co-worker liked the sandwich but unfortunately, I did not enjoy the fried shrimp. They were very overcooked. So overcooked, they were hard and rubbery. I could not finish them. Way too pricey for that quality. I would try other food but not the fried shrimp again.

I wanted fresh US crab meat. I asked for the Louisiana crab meat which was written on the sign (beside the MD crab sign) and they iced it up and put it in a bag for me. I got home and the container said it was from Colombia. 😑
It was good but I was disappointed in their honesty.
