I got the chicken Parm pasta with fettuccine and it is definitely not worth $20. This tasted like a five dollar meal at best. Whoever gave this place 4+ stars doesn’t have taste buds

The service has improved, the food is very good especially the meatballs and chicken but the atmospheres got worse. The atmosphere wasn't good the last time I was here years ago but now there rips the the seats and the dining room looks like something out of a horror movie. I am still giving them a 4 out 5 because I will have to consider going out of my way to do carry out even if they are 15 minutes away from my home.

My daughter and I happened to be in the area so we stopped by for lunch, unplanned. We were highly impressed with the quality of food, the generous portions of food, and the warm-hearted customer service from our server, Sophia. She was friendly, professional, and made us feel welcome. Il Basilico Trattoria is absolutely, positively in the top-tier of Italian restaurants in Central Maryland. 5 stars all the way!!! ( in photo below: stromboli, stuffed shells w/ spinach & marinara, caesar salad, noci salad, side of broccoli)

This evening I ordered two cheesesteak subs on line and paid with my card. When I arrived at the store, the young lady behind the counter ignored my while she talked to someone on her cellphone. After about five minutes, the store phone rang, she picked it up and placed that person on hold, telling me she'd be with me in a minute. After she finished her cellphone call, she picked up the phone and proceeded to take a long complicated order while I stood and waited.

Mine was an online, paid order. If she had asked me if I had ordered ahead, she could have simply turned, grabbed my food, and sent me on my way.

After waiting approximately ten minutes, she finally got the young lady who was waiting tables to help me. I told her my name and she grabbed a bag that had been sitting there since I walked in and gave it to me. By the time I got home, I had two room temperature sandwiches.

They have just lost a customer.

My family and I used to come to this restaurant for over 3 years, but today what happened was unacceptable. My husband placed an order for takeout through the app and PAID using our credit card (not only paid but also left a nice tip as we always do). When I went to pick up my food, I was called out by a worker who said I needed to pay for my food. This was so embarrassing, so I called my husband and he said the order was already paid, so I opened my email to show them the recipe, as well as my credit card statement. The lady asked this Hispanic guy who treated me like I WAS LYING about paying and saying that HE spoke to my husband. I tried to tell them my husband did not call the restaurant, he used the app and paid for the food plus tip. No one tried to at least look at the recipe I had, but instead they kept telling me their system showed I had to pay for it. This was humiliating and I’ll never go back there. Please figure it out your system and do not treat costumes like trash. This is the worst place ever!
