Real food the way Baltimoreans like it. Regular white sandwich bread for soft crabs Fried Liver and onions with bacon also. Rare Prime Rib. Just good home cooked food. They miss on a few items but,I've been going for 45 years and it doesn't disappoint. Service is friendly and excellent. Hope it never changes.

We had a really great experience at the Peppermill over the past few days. We dined there twice in the past week, and both times were very good. As a small group for lunch on a weekday, we had a fabulous server, and our food was very good. Following that, we had a group of 20 people on a Saturday night and we so appreciate how accommodating the management, servers and other staff were for that occasion. They set up our party with two large tables in the back so that we were able to converse and and have a little bit of space. All the food was very good! Favorites from our crew were the coconut shrimp, the salmon, the crab cakes, the roughy, and the coconut cake. Thank you to the team at the Peppermill for a wonderful meal and experience.

Came here with my husband for lunch for the 1st time after going to an event at the fairgrounds. I'm in my mid 40s and was by far the youngest diner here. It's obvious that the staff caters to their locals. It is a nice atmosphere. The club sandwich was okay, no complaints.

The food was mediocre and pretty bland. Also, it seems like a hangout for people 75 and older because that’s ALL I saw besides me and my date. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. HOWEVER, I saw a mouse crawl up the brick wall (looks like it used to be a fireplace) that’s in the dining room and into the ceiling! I had already finished my meal by then … needless to say, I will never eat there again.

As the holidays approach and my job will be hosting our luncheon here, let me say that I wasn't impressed by the food the first time and I'm not looking forward to it in a few weeks. I ordered the glazed salmon, which was flavorless and by far the worst I've ever eaten at a restaurant. The service was good but I wouldn't return as a paying customer out of my own pocket. Hopefully they'll improve the quality of food this year.

Met a friend. Great catching up. It had been decades since we had seen each other.
Had a dish with steak and shrimp; the steak was great but only 2 shrimps. Overall. It was okay. Our waitress was pleasant.

I ate here twice during my recent trip to Baltimore and I really enjoyed both meals. As a pescatarian, I was thrilled with all the seafood options on the menu.
My first meal here was superb and I highly recommend the Cream of Crab soup and the orange roughie. Both were cooked perfectly.
My second meal was also very good. The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer was delicious and not overly spicy. There was just enough spice to give it a kick. I ordered the Shrimp and Scallops as a main course and the Scallops were wonderful and cooked perfectly. The Shrimp on the other hand were definitely overcooked. This was the only disappointment I had with anything I ate there.
The prices are very reasonable for the quality and the amount of food you're getting and the service was excellent both times we were there.
I look forward to bringing my husband to eat here on my next trip up to Baltimore to visit my family! Overall I highly recommend this restaurant.
