Two servers assigned to our table and it took us to ask for new drinks. The one main appetizer took 45 minutes to make. It threw off the entire dinner which was fine for most but details like what was served with the filet unknown. Very little said about it. And then to pay a 20% guaranteed gratuity on top of that is just absurd.

Meal - Maryland crab soup - solid back fin; seasoned; tasty; and good to the last drop. Shrimp cocktail - seasoned; served cold; tasty; and enjoyable. Conventional and easy meal selection. Shawn had the Eastern Shore Salad - enjoyed the selection; wonderful presentation; and reported as very tasty. Kitchen - Producing one wonderful meal at a time. Dining Location - Porch - change of temperature - more aggressive pest management required. The field mice having free run of the floor; table base supports; and guests shoes - should be avoided. This is likely a seasonal temperature change issue; however, during a dinner service the sight of mice is not comforting. Wait staff was informed and confirmed their sightings. A better Mouse Trap is required. Parking Lot - the recent white striping is very helpful at night. Again a wonderful investment!!!

We had dinner at the Valley Inn to celebrate my birthday. The service was outstanding. The food was phenomenal, and the atmosphere in the bar after dinner was so much fun with DJ Breezy! I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion or celebration! Thank you Valley Inn!

We had our work holiday party here and everything from the moment I called and spoke to Patty to the hostesses wishing us a Happy Holiday was wonderful. It's our new go-to restaurant for any events.
We visited on a Tuesday evening, and the place wasn't too crowded, which made for a great atmosphere. We started with calamari, Maryland crab dip, and cream of crab soup. The crab dip and soup were outstanding, but the calamari was a bit lackluster. For our mains, we ordered shrimp tacos, Chilean sea bass, crab cake platter, and seafood gumbo. The tacos and sea bass were delicious, but the crab cake was slightly dry (a bit disappointing after such a great crab dip), and the gumbo was the least enjoyable—very watery with a burnt flavor. Unfortunately, I only managed to take a picture of the gumbo.

We used to love the Valley Inn before it was acquired by the Atlas group. We came here to celebrate after picking out our wedding bands and it was a special place for us. It is a totally different place and a disappointment since changing ownership. The Atlas group has taken all the local and special historic charm out of the Valley Inn. We used to love the cozy and warm inside bar, the Atlas group has totally remodeled the inside bar and turned it into a sports bar with extremely loud speakers. Gone is the cozy and homey Valley Inn that we loved. My husband ordered "the cave dweller" drink and reported it to be terrible tasting. The drink was 95% ice and cost $14. We will not be back, we miss the old Valley Inn.

I went here with my girlfriend around 830pm on a weekday and we were seated. It was crickets for almost 15 minutes even though they were not busy and the thought crossed my mind of leaving. A server came, we ordered and everything came in a timely manner, but the server was having an off day. Forgot dressing for the salad, I had to basically go into the kitchen to find anyone. The food was excellent and I would go back again despite the rough service.
