Great job, very satisfied.

It’s been 3 years since I had been there, was my absolute favorite place. Now it’s run down, cocktails in plastic solo cups, no flavor to the crabs that were kind of dried up. Friends had food and were disappointed with that also. Why they are letting it run down and don’t serve quality food is so sad. I’ll never go there again and don’t recommend it. Saddens me.

I would not eat a meal here again, but I would visit for the bands and Tiki bar. The food was below basic and not cooked well, and I felt like we were putting the staff out due to the size of our party (7). The deck/bar area is very nice and a great place to meet with friends.

We like going there, usually all good. Last Saturday the stuffed crab shrimp was not good, FRIED tiny crab balls on under cooked shrimp. They where kind enough to take a drink $ off the bill. We will still go there

Went on a Tue evening, they were not that busy and waited over an hour for our dinner to arrive. People who came in after us were served before us. When we got our dinner, two plates out of 4 were cold. And one plate was completely wrong, she informed she had “accidentally ordered the wrong dish for us”. Not only was my rockfish cold, it was way over cooked and rubbery dry. When the waiter was told she offered to replace, told her that we already waited an hour to get this, we didn’t want to wait again. So they took $9 off the $140 bill. We will never go there again. Not to mention that non of the food was all that good.

The most horrible place. We ordered our food and waited over 1 hour and it was not ready. The waiter offered us complimentary soup while we waited and then charged us for it when we left. After waiting an hour for food with only two other tables in the restaurant a table that came in after us and ordered after us was served their appetizers and meal before we got ours. The waiter went to check on what happened with our food and she had the nerve to tell us that the kitchen said they were filling the order in order which I know for a fact was a lie. Please if you are hungry and want to be treated like a paying customer go somewhere else. I rate this place a zero.

It was our first time visiting the restaurant and we were exploring food places, so we looked online and found this restaurant. So we drove over there and we were excited to see the views, which are beautiful. Yet, once we entered the restaurant, the evil looks and states of some of the customers and energy as going there as an Army Veteran and my University professor friend ( we both are Muslim women)- it felt so uncomfortable. Some people were friendly and not brainwashed by seeing what kind of cloth we wear. My faith is an affirmation of my way of life that I worship God and cover my hair out of my own choice. They gave us the runaround when we got there to get a table and after being directed three times, we got finally a table. I was actually amazed by the size of the food. The view is beautiful there, it reminded me of the hotel my aunt had when she had the restaurant over her hotel and we were always overlooking the ocean when we were eating when I was a kid.
The waitress talked too long to other customers when we were waiting for her when we were ready to go. She was nice and deserves help. We both are educated women and her children have special needs, the people in the back where we sat and dined in as well were kind. It really feels uncomfortable to try to go to a place because of this, but we still go because she is a taxpaying citizen and has a right to go wherever she wants and is never frugal when she goes out to eat. The toilet smelled so badly and it looked really old Considering the experience, we may visit or not visit again. I love Southern Maryland and bought my house here after I retired from the Army, not knowing anything. So I will continue to explore the places where I go and I truly pray to God that some of these people learn more about diversity and tolerance.
Most of the people in Southern Maryland are friendlier than the people in DC and of course the few who look at you weird for being Muslim, who probably have just have watched too much CNN and Fox News, consumed misinformation about people of different lives and do not know anything about this life. Compare us to the Amish we are in a sense similar with a dress code and religious way of life. That is quite simple.

9/10/24, 6pm Met my granddaughter, her husband and new baby at Seabreeze at 6. I was excited to show my family this , what use to be, a really cool crab house on the Patuxent River in Mechanicsville, MD....they had never been to Seabreeze.
IT took 10 minutes to find anybody to seat us. Not ONE employee in sight. I walked around to find anybody working, nobody in sight.
Finally an employee noticed we were waiting and seated us. We got ignored for 45 minutes, managed to get 3 sodas. Waitress never asked us what we wanted to eat, she was rude. Threw 2 menus on table (for 3 adults) and ran away. She walked past us 15-20 times. I told my family, she walks past again, we are out of here. She was only interested in serving big party of 15-20 outside.
Apparently, only people seated OUTSIDE are allowed to order food. Waitress ignored 2 other tables inside completely, they at least had food, but we heard them complaining about not having waitress stop by their tables. What a waste of time.
If we stayed at Seabreeze, it would have taken another hour for food. I told waitress she ignored us for 45 minutes and we left to fund a real restaurant that is able to take food orders and deliver food to the table.
There are too any other crab houses in Southern Maryland to ever return to Seabreeze again, only to be ignored and watch servers walk past you 15 times and not say ONE WORD to you.
Why did you bother opening today?
Where is a manager?
Where is the owner?
Do they even care?
We felt like we were in the waitress' way, we we a bother to her.
Nobody cares about you, that's for sure. They must already make too much money to care about customers waiting to be served and fed.
Isn't that the reason you opened the restaurant? To serve actual food and drinks, not to ignore good paying customers and be rude about it?
I could have never left a tip to a server that ignored me for 45 minutes, walking past us 15+ times.
I generally over tip, because MOST servers work hard .

Everything was great. We did have undercooked chicken which the server immediately replaced with a new basket. The manger even took the entire meal off the bill. Seafood was great and seasoned very well. Would recommend.

We started with a buffalo chicken wrap which was nothing more than some plain grilled chicken chopped up and wrapped in a bare wrap, there was absolutely nothing but plain dry chicken inside the wrap. Then we had two dozen steamed crabs (in August) which were all small to medium in size for $75 a dozen x's 2. Total bill was $191.32 for a really bad wrap and two dozen crabs that should have been tossed back in the river.

Couldn't wait to get back to Maryland to get some best of both crab soup.
