After being newly assigned to the Essex precinct I noticed this hidden gem while on patrol one day. When I finally got the opportunity to stop by I was not disappointed.I've only lived in Maryland since 2015, so I haven't tried them all, but I will say this is the best pit beef I've had since moving to the East Coast.Not only was the food excellent, but the gentlemen running the place are friendly, engaging, and really let you know how much they appreciate your patronage.This place is definitely worth traveling to if you're in the market for a good pit beef sandwich. The pit beef and fries are the only menu items I've had a chance to try, but if they put as much into the rest of the menu as the items I've tried, I'm sure they're excellent.

The people where very friendly and the beer cold but the smokers stand in front of the screen door 2 or 3 at a time and then more people replaced them.With fan sucking that in they might as well smoked inside.

It's a quaint little bar. If you just want to have a drink it's great. My daughter is a bartender there and the people seem to love her. I really hope she does good there.
I had a very awesome 50th birthday party there even the people that wasn't involved in my party ended up getting involved in the party which was awesome it felt like a neighborhood bar. Then unfortunately after I left the party I got a phone call to be told that my father passed away. And again thank you very much Denise for all of your help it means a lot you will be blessed one day
