My family got sick over the weekend. The crabs were terrible. I called the next day to let them know what happen the only thing she said well no one else ever called and say that well she would tell me if some one did but I speaking about my family. Capt. Jim's Crabs is a popular seafood restaurant known for its delectable crab dishes. The restaurant has a loyal customer base, with many locals praising the quality and taste of the crabs. Customers have consistently reported getting "heavy, healthy, and great-tasting crabs" from the restaurant's Carroll Island location. The service is generally described as good, though the small parking lot and busy local customers can sometimes make the pick-up process a bit of a nuisance.
While crabs from the Carroll Island location have received consistent praise, some customers have had issues with the Philadelphia location, mentioning that the crabs there have had a slight odor and aftertaste, with some orders containing mostly empty shells. Recently, a customer reported that the crabs were pulled from the steamer too soon, resulting in soggy meat, which was a disappointment. However, after reaching out, Captain Jim offered a replacement dozen crabs, which were reported to be "1000% better," steamed and seasoned perfectly.
Overall, Capt. Jim's Crabs remains a popular destination for crab lovers. One customer remarked that they have been visiting the restaurant for years and believe it to be the best, even when comparing it to other local spots. Many customers express that they have not been let down and encourage others to try it, assuring that they will not be disappointed.
