Atmosphere is three stars only due to close qtr seating. I love going there and picking up my orders. When I have sat and ate, great service. Easy going with regulars that keep coming back and fir good reason.
This is very much a blue colar, neighborhood establishment, very relaxed. Loved the warm hearted, friendly ambiance. And the food!!!! Loved that it's a small place out of the way. To some that might be a problem. But that is partly why this place has great charm. The other part is the staff.

Fave Lunch : Carolina Dog, Bowl of Bean Soup, Hot Fries with Gravy and Hot Sauce. Almost Heaven...
Been coming here since 1955, with my Dad, when dogs were fifteen cents.
Now I bring my Grandchildren. Food is a bit more, but the memories, great food and ever welcoming staff have kept me and hundreds of other locals coming back for the best comfort food around.
Definitely give it a try...
and look for my name on the tables in the back...Kids go right to it. lol
