It's a great place if you want good Mexican food. Not American Mexican fast food!

The food is still spot on authentic Mexican!

My family and I have always enjoyed the food here. We go to El Piqujn 2 for some variety even though we live much closer to El Piquin (they are also a really good place by the way). We have had various items from the typical tacos to the various platters. All have been delicious.

Got take out... el pastor tacos tasted fishy. Not sure if the tummy ache I experienced after eating them was my punishment or just cuz... well... Mexican food... wasn't this place called Chili Pepper at some point? It was waaay better then.

I’ve tried the flautas, I’ve tried the tortas, I’ve tried the tacos, I’ve tried the tamales. It has all been mediocre. It just lacks flavor, or simply tastes…okay.

The horchata and Jamaica are consistently good. Maybe a little sweet. Also a little taxed - $7 for a large.

Go to Fiesta Mexicana in Rosedale if you want some more flavor 😋

We discovered this place by accident and will definitely be back. Food was very good, service was excellent, and the place is cozy. Full bar service with good margaritas. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Items not available. Restaurant empty. Drinks not available. Chimchanga very dry. Carne Asada meat very tough,chewy but good seasoning. Restaurant got busy within minutes. Understaffed but wait staff doing their best. It's a nice little restaurant we would give it another try.

Good food, good drinks and good service!!

So I’m going to update my review. Have been coming here for almost a year. It was always good. Good food and drinks. Last 2 times we went, it was definitely not the same. So we gave it another try last night. Food and drinks were good but when we got our bill they added gratuity to it. I have never had them do it before and I always tip very good and in cash. There is nothing posted anywhere that gratuity is automatically added. I honestly believe this is because my husband is black. The waitress even told me they pick and choose who they are gonna do this to, “it’s usually when people bother them a lot or we don’t know you”. That is what she said. So please if you want to patronize a business that singles you out for the color of your skin, by all means.
