Enjoy A Bowl

(Presumably) The store owner told me the specific detailing in what I should say/way I should go about ordering a bowl and cutting me off.. but mind you.. I come here very VERY often for breakfast or during my breaks and literally all of her employees know who I am and what I order every single time and was TRYING to say that, but besides the point, if you were confused about my order just clarify...I love the bowls and all other workers have been soooo so nice.. but the service particularly this morning was just weird. it’s too early in the morning for attitudes.

I’ve tried this place two times now. Now i know why no one goes here. Walked in no one in the building , someone came in behind me after smoking in their car and turns out that’s the person running the store and making your food.. I ended up throwing my smoothie away because it made me sick after drinking half of it.

The bowls are good but the service is trash. It’s a black owned business so I wanted to try but the energy feels like the owner doesn’t want or appreciate her customers. Please work on hospitality when greeting ur customers who spend their money or don’t own a business.

First time going inside of " Enjoy a bowl " I heard it was black owned and wanted to give it a try since I moved and didn't feel like driving to my favorite Acai bowl place " 1215 Global Health ". If I could give the service a -1/5 I would but I can't so we'll settle for 0 stars. As soon as I walked in the shop it was beautiful i said to my bf " This is nniicceee " ...
I walk to the counter with my Service dog who's now sitting between my feet and nobody was there , shortly a lady walks out from the back as I'm looking at the menu.
I greet the lady with a smile and a " hello how're you " she replies " how can i help you? " with a straight face.
Face straighter than a heterosexual.
so I repeat " how're you ?'
she replies " good ( which was a lie because why're you being stale, like a slice of bread left on the counter early in the morning? ) how can I help you? "
I asked her if I could get a minute?"
shes just looking -____- and didn't say anything
so I said again " can I get a second ?" . It's my first time here I didn't know what I wanted
she says okay and walks off but before she walks off she mumbles something so I asked her to repeat herself because I didn't hear her.
She says " the sign says no animals " so I'm just looking at her and I just breathe as she walks off and I turn to my bf and say " he's a service animal ... babe just get me what your getting " and I took my pup outside because I'm not gonna argue with no old lady early in the morning because someone made you upset, we didn't do anything to you. She already rubbed me wrong so I removed myself. NOT going to mess with my energy this early...
As i'm standing outside almost getting blown away from the wind I look at the 5% TINTED windows she has to see if there really was a sign and it was but who can see that behind them tints ma'am ? and plus he's a service dog.
I guess you're the owner. I didn't appreciate your demeanor this morning at all. Idk if I'd ever come back to this establishment and then for my bf to say " shes always like that " ...
Being in the holistic health field myself I don't think this was the right profession if that's how you treat all your guests. With owning something that nurtures our souls and bodies , but getting it made by someone as stank as you were this morning that energy passes on so once I got my bowl I took a bit it was too much granola for my liking and I didn't care for the energy you left on it so I chucked it in the *beep* it bucket ( the trash ).

I went to this location today and I was so non plussed. I walked in and the employee was there talking on the phone having a personal conversation being very loud and l was at the counter standing up and she was in the back talking. Only thing she said am coming soon. So your personal call all the yelling yapping is more important than a customer. If that call is more important then my money can be spent somewhere else. Once time and never again

I’ll start by saying the bowls are delicious and the staff is polite. But, the last two times I’ve been here, the employee has been hotboxing in his car. He sees a customer go in and follows them in to prepare the order without washing his hands (he did have gloves on). He reeks of weed. So if this bothers you, fair warning. But again, bowls are delicious.

I love this place and go at least once or twice a week. I always get the PBJ and it's always wonderful. The building itself is always clean, staff is friendly and the ingredients are always fresh.

I frequent Enjoy a Bowl very often. I’m normally there at least twice a week, sometimes more than that. The bowls are delicious! I would agree that the employees could do a little more engaging with the customers but I don’t think they are rude. Ohhh and the owner and her son make the BEST bowl ever!!

I really enjoy the bowls here I get the pb and j. The bowls are good and I feel like there quality food items used. I do agree the customer service could be better. It'd family owned and the presence of a child doesn't bother me because as a mom I get it. I have come here before I'm the the morning shortly after opening but they were still closed. I would say wait 15 min after opening to come, not that you should have to.

I've been looking for a local smoothie bar,I passed this location frequently not realizing it was actually open until I ventured closer and saw the open sign flashing. The atmosphere felt uneasy as if I interrupted something the interaction was not pleasant at all in spite of all that I did enjoy the bowl but I will continue to look for another store or make my own. ??‍♀️

Is this place ever opened? Came today 5:15pm. It’s supposed to be opened until 6pm…closed.

I’ve been here multiple times for lunch and have never been disappointed. The fruit is always fresh and delicious. The music may be a bit loud and vulgar at some times but it is what it is. The only negative I have is they don’t have a location in bel air (hint hint)
