Food and drink specials for New Year's Eve were plentiful! Had the scallops and lobster over creamy risotto- delectable! Several servers teamed up to wait on us , very efficient! Band was superb with a diverse variety of songs!

Recently hosted our company Christmas party with Bowley's on the Bay and couldn't be more happy with it. Anthony and his team have been working with me for the past 3 months figuring out all the details. They made it very easy and were great with communication. They made the day of the event effortless and their staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient.
The team here is amazing and does great work, the food was really good and so were the drinks.
The scenery at Bowley's is beautiful and you'll be pleased with the restaurant regardless of where you sit.

Headed to Bowleys on the Bay on July 2nd by boat. After tying up at the marina fueling station (ok to dock there after 5 pm), we were told we could not sit outside and would need to be seated inside. Not sure why? There were other guests who arrived after us (a party of 5) who were welcomed to outdoor seating. The hostess seemed annoyed so maybe she was having a bad day. Considering that the main reason we chose the restaurant was because they have outdoor seating which allows for views of the sunset, not to mention, a small beach which would keep a toddler happy by playing in the water, we truly were disappointed by the hostess' choice to seat us in an empty dining area since the weather was gorgeous. The server was also unsure why we were seated inside since she had tables outside and had to run in and out to serve us. The food was pretty good but the service was slow (as noted above). The server was very nice and accommodating. All in all, a pleasant place to dine but beware of being seated indoors during the summer. In hindsight sight we should have insisted on being seated outside, even if it meant a wait.

Service was great and food was too. Restaurant is tucked away in a nice neighborhood. Great water views and you can watch small planes fly into the small airport across the water.

Bowleys on the Bay is a delight. The sandy beach with palm trees vibe is like no other in Maryland. Q: Who needs an expensive and time-consuming flight to the Virgin Islands when you've got Bowleys? A: Nobody. Just head to Middle River.

This place is fantastic. Not only do they have great food at reasonable prices, excellent atmosphere right on the water with a private beach, and live music, but their customer service is excellent as well. We have had several large parties here and they have always accommodated us. But most importantly to me, the manager allowed me to do something that was very special and important to me regarding a loved one who passed. 5/5 would recommend!
It is absolutely stunning view! We have been here bunch of times each time has a unique experience! Love the place, sandy beach and spectacular sunset view! All employees are very friendly. Food is fresh and delicious! 🤤

The atmosphere was fantastic and the night we were there the band was on fire. The crab dip is mouth drooling good. Yes please...go for a great time. I highly recommend it.

I rated low so people would read. My problem is with the gratutities. I know it is my fault for not paying attention to the fine print at the bottom of the menu, but when you automatically add 20% and then a good Customer adds a 22 % on top of it not knowing someone should say something. A bill for an approx. 175.00 ended up 212.00 because of your 20% and then we gave 45.00 for our tip so it totaled out to approx. 90.00 tip. Since this does not seem to be the norm for small parties I believe you should mention it up front or at least point it out at the end. This will be the only time since I will not come back.
