Kelly's Kitchen and Bakery

My goodness, the bakery is spectacular. We had a chocolate cake with both whipped and regular ganache with a raspberry filling - out of this world! We also enjoyed cupcakes for Christmas… wish I took a pic, they were decorated so elegantly! The owner, Kelly, is always super friendly and clearly is devoted to her craft.

This is the best bakery I’ve tasted in Baltimore. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, just like home. The staff was sweet and friendly. I’ll def be back again.

I was very impressed. I wanted something outside the box and different. I found this gem at the end of the line on Eastern Avenue in Chase. The portions were huge. The food was tasty and the price was fair!!! It's definitely worth the drive!!! Also, save some room or take some awesome baked goods home with you!!! I can't wait till next time!!!

I came here with my mom, who enjoys this place (probably because of the prices), but unfortunately, my experience was pretty disappointing. The dining area has no windows, which makes it feel dark and closed-in—almost like a prison chow hall. All the tables face outward, so it feels like you’re sitting on display with everyone else.

To make matters worse, during the busiest breakfast hour, there was a man on a ladder doing electrical work right in the middle of the floor. The restaurant was already dimly lit, and it felt both unprofessional and disruptive to have that happening while people were eating.

I started with a coffee, but it tasted more like herbal tea than actual coffee—definitely not drinkable. Every table available was dirty, and once we finally sat down, the food itself was just as disappointing. I ordered the breakfast platter with extra-crispy bacon, but it came out limp and chewy. My scrambled eggs, which I asked to be cooked with just American cheese, had pieces of onion and even a green pepper mixed in, plus they looked undercooked beneath the cheese. The potatoes were dry, bland, and tasted like paper.

When I went to wash my hands, I discovered the sinks in the bathroom weren’t even working—which was honestly the last straw for me.

Overall, I only gave this place a chance because my mom likes it, but between the atmosphere, lack of cleanliness, and terrible food, I can’t say I’ll be back.

I ordered the Gyro, the tomatoes and onions were very chunky. The sauce was runny and tasteless, same goes for the meat on the Gyro. It was flavorless and not good.

We have been patrons of Kelly’s for several years. The food is fabulous but her cakes are a family favorite. They always taste delicious and are decorated as requested. In the last month we’ve purchased two half sheet cakes for our children’s’ 4th and 1st birthdays. Over the years we have ordered birthday cakes, shower cakes, smash cakes, and even our wedding cake. Literally nothing but the best with every cake we order!

Kelly’s kitchen is service with a big smile. Food that is delicious and cooked exactly the way the customer wants.
