Michael's Cafe White Marsh-Middle River

We went to Michael’s for brunch with a party of 8 including 3 children. We ordered a big variety of options from the menu including the muscles, chicken and waffles, pancakes, yogurt parfait, salad, tuna tartare and appetizers like the crab dip and the pancake bacon. It was all delicious and I highly recommend this restaurant for brunch!

Not as good as before. Cocktail shrimps were not at the freshest; ribeye over-aged. Everything still tasted okay but just not as impressive as last year’s.
They also changed their brunch time to end at 4pm and didn’t really allow people to order food from the dinner menu… though our waitress was nice and checked with the chef for us to order something else from the dinner menu partially (didn’t allow us to get all of them)… however, as we were about to finish our meal, we heard from the customers sitting next to us also requesting items from the dinner menu. It was still before 4 pm, yet the chef this time accommodated their request. Our waitress probably felt awkward, thus turned around to ask if we would still want the items we didn’t get from the dinner menu lol.
And by the way, probably because people don’t tip accordingly, now they impose 20% tips for brunch before 3pm and dinner after 8:30pm. It was not informed before the meal! Even though I usually tend to tip more than 20% IN CASH… but well would you still tip additionally in this case…? Probably our last visit?

Went there for a date with my now boyfriend. Got funny looks but whatever. Good food. He didn't like the rockfish at first but grew on him. Ridiculously tall staff. I'm 5'1 it's like I'm in giant country when I'm there. Very good place though

Had brunch there this morning and it was super yummy. The only complaint is that the bar chairs are not comfortable. I was in jeans and I was constantly sliding forward. I used my feet to push me back on and hold me there; I shouldn’t have to engage my muscles to sit in a bar chair. Other than that, it was great. Good food, good service, and good bartenders.

i came here with my bf earlier tonite and we ordered food and felt fine at first then as we were driving home we felt instantly sick/queasy to our stomachs my bf had to pull over to the side of the road to throw up i myself threw up as well after eating food from here!!

I just visited your establishment on today 12/8/24 for brunch with my boyfriend. I found a long strand of hair in my food. It clearly wasn’t mine because I have a short haircut. The waitress came over and my boyfriend told her hair is in my food. I showed her the hair, she removed the plate and offered to make another one. The manager then came over apologized and said the entree was removed from the bill. He kept apologizing because he could see I was visibly upset. Even though another entree was given to me, I already lost my appetite. I was too grossed out to even drink the rest of my beverage. I know mistakes happen but the plate should have been checked before it was given to me. The food was good but the hair incident made my first time visit unpleasant.

Great spot, was a lil annoyed that they add 20% gratuity after 10pm without prior knowledge but besides that the food was great the service was great.

The breakfast I received was cold and very bland. It was a meal that was overpriced as there was no presentation or anything different that I couldn’t make at home. The crab dip was cold and when I asked to get it heated, the server came back several minutes later.
