I have never written a review on a restaurant, but I thought I would this time. I expected a similar experience as what the Timonium location offers. Quality of food - not even close, Service - not even close. Even if I never experienced the Timonium location, I probably still wouldn’t go back. Atmosphere is nice, if you are looking for a fancy watering hole. I’ll stick to Mom and Dad’s place in Timonium!

We are regular customers. We went for the brunch which is usually great. Today sad to say wasn't. We had a waiter with an attitude. Any other time we could order a single pancake with bacon. However we were told that we could not order a single pancake and bacon. After some discussion we settled on 2 panckes. We've had this particular server before and he was the same. Not going back for awhile very disappointing.
Me and my wife ate at Michael’s cafe for the first time and I had the crab cake sandwich and my wife had the Baltimore hot chicken sandwich and we both thought the food was Delicious!!! Service was great as well and would definitely come back for sure !!! Highly recommend to everyone!!!

We absolutely love Michael's it's our go to date night spot! Service is awesomeness food, never disappoints.The manager won us over when we showed up the Saturday before mothers without a reservation. He made sure we had a table for our family of 5. We had a wonderful dinner. We will always come back!
Had the NY Strip Steak which may be the best steak I've ever had at a restaurant, server was AWESOME but for the money it is WAY too damn loud in there. Literally can't hear my wife sitting across the table from me. That being said I'll gladly order takeout in the future as it's only 5min from home.

Food was excellent. Burrata was delightful. Had the signature rockfish and loved it. Drinks were on point. Ate at bar and bartenders were very slammed and overwhelmed. But they did their best to be attentive. SO LOUD in there. Would not recommend sitting in the bar area if you want a quiet dinner with someone. We weren't looking for quiet, but it was so loud that we didn't want to stick around for one more drink. Loud acoustics and loud clientele especially.

Shrimp and grits are good but for the price, it should be more grits considering, grits are really cheap...the other sauce that comes with the calamari is good.

I have been here quite a few times and have enjoyed myself each time. all but once, i was seated in the room toward the kitchen. it is usually pretty crowded when i visit (usually weekend brunch) but it has never been this loud in the area i was seated in. i could barely have a convo with my friend because we couldn't hear each other speak nor was i interested in yelling to the person sitting next to me. i attributed the extra loud noise on the acoustics of the room we were in and it wasn't a terrible inconvenience. i'm just glad i wasn't on an actual date lol i think i may request to be seated outside of that room next time if it's as loud as it was this last time. otherwise, the service and the food was good as usual!
