Skipjack's Crab Deck

Skip Jack’s has become my go-to stop this year whenever I’m in Middle River. I’m an out-of-stater who likes to spend time at the little beach nearby, and this is the perfect place to grab a small bite and a refreshing drink on the way home. Their orange crushes are amazing, super fresh and flavorful. My kids loved the sampler appetizer, especially the mozzarella moons. I always go for the steamed shrimp seasoned with Old Bay and it’s absolutely delicious. They had live music during our visit which made the whole atmosphere even better. If you find yourself in Middle River, Maryland, I highly recommend stopping by Skip Jack’s.

Great local spot for crabs if you want to spend that kind of money just make sure you call and reserve them. Personally I wouldn't pay the inflated any place but that's not Skipjacks fault there.

The wings are great as well was the Nashville hot chicken sammy, which was actually hot and that's a treat. The onion rings as a side are also worth it very fresh and tasty.

If in Bowleys quarters stop in and try it, especially during football season.

I went to skipjacks crab in middle river that usually has good crabs. I received a takeout on and the crabs suppose to be large but the body of the crabs was small and the inside was hardly any meat and messy.It was Unlike them. I called the manager and she resisted at first but told me to bring them back and she will give me a fresh batch.I returned the ones I had and wanted to upgrade to get extra large and pay extra. I knew something was fishy went she said it's an exchange and I had to get large again which did not make sense if I was going to pay more. Mind you, I live in Randallstown and had to go far to get them Also,, back tracking, I got them Friday because it was no take out on the weekend and told her I wanted to put them in refrigerator until Sunday. I opened them today and could not believe what I saw. Moving forward, all she did was reheated my crabs, because not only do they look the same, they are more messing on the inside and some missing legs. She choice be to do bad service with and I spent 200 dollars, gas, and was late to my engagement to bring the crabs to. She played me, and I felt disrespected. Just because a place give good service to many do not mean they will not switch up on another and give bad service, cause human being are working and subject to erro annd bad behavior I want a refund for my crabs and compensation for my time and gas, which I will not get but I am a customer and each customer is important.

Can’t tell you about the food because after 45 minutes they came up to us and said they were just starting make ours. We ordered a cheesesteak and a shrimp salad … pretty simple. People coming in after us were served without any problems … when we inquired about ours the staff got a little pissy. Never going back there again. Would recommend anywhere but here.

This was our first time attending skip. Jacks, we went to celebrate my wife's birthday. We're family members had a great time. Everyone enjoyed their selves. The food will great. The drinks were flowing. It was it was 10 out of 10

Loved the vibe here. Our food was great, restaurant clean and there was a celebration in every corner. Really enjoyed the crab dip, the pita chips were light and sooo good. Definitely recommend.

Our first time at the Skipjack's Crab Deck. It was awesome, my wife & I ordered 1 dozen large, & had a few drinks while waiting. These crabs were the best we've had in years, the service was great, our waitress Ari was the sweetest. It was also a beautiful night with a cool breeze. We will definitely be back!

I can comment better after my next time here. But I love it so far. Everything was fantastic.

Came to skipjacks to eat crabs. Crabs were great as usual. Also ordered the pound of steam shrimp. They were also good...just not impressed with not getting the full pound because they come with potatoes and onions. Our server Libby was amazing. She took excellent care of us! Ask for her if you go! The place is cold so dress warm.

The biggest crabs I’ve ever had, they were super sized!!! The server was a local and was extremely good at her job. The restaurant and management on the other hand was non existent. There was an issue with one of the burgers not coming out and no manager. Here’s the big one, a member of our group decided to play the slot machine by the bar and walked straight up to it after exiting the bathroom. So they never had an opportunity to see the “sign” on the side. There was a typed sign, in probably size 24 font, on the back left side of the machine. It was obviously tucked away for a reason as our friend found out that the machine will take large bills, but it pays nothing. Absolutely nothing, not cash back, not credit towards your meal, not a tshirt or even a stuffed teddy. It pays nothing. My friend did not find this out until after he had already put $160 in the machine and a friend came up from the side and noticed the small sign. The machine prints this small receipt and the bartender tells you it is good for absolutely nothing! You can’t even put the money back on the slot machine to continue paying. So here is another $60 ticket that is only good for, NOTHING!!! Bill was over $400 for 6 people! Cream of crab soup had no crab in it.
