Skipjack's Crab Deck

Good crabs, affordable prices, good drinks, and nice staff. I did get the crab nachos and u was not impressed as the crab meat was sprinkled on top with no seasoning. My thought process was I could have gotten cheese nachos and put meat from my crabs on top for the same concept but with some flavor from the crab seasoning. For crabs they do sell out so calling and reserving ahead of time is ideal. Crab orders for the day usually don’t come in until 4p ish.

Great atmosphere, food, and service.

Went here with family, super excited as this place has good reviews. It’s simply Over rated. The food was meh. We arrived when they were not very busy. The service was mediocre, not very friendly, ran out of beverages, she was pretty inattentive. The skin on the fish was quite dark in color and felt durable…. Downright tough. I wondered how many times it had been cooked. The coleslaw- Maybe the intention was this is a garnish? The slaw didn’t taste good at all. The portion was very small. It was served in a 1 ounce sauce container. My wife’s crabcake was yellow. All the food was served cold. All in all the visit was disappointing. I would not choose this restaurant again. I do not recommend Skipjacks Crab Deck.

Was in the area so thought I'd stop to get crabs to go. Staff no nothing about crabs. Said crabs are charged by the size of the shell, not the weight. So if a crab has a large shell but empty inside it's still charged as a large crab and you know how much a large crab can cost, so I wouldnt take a chance. The young man behind the bar asked if I wanted crabs or not. Rude too! Don't know how the food taste but definitely would not buy crabs.

We came for the steamed crab special on Tuesday, which was $25 off a dozen crabs. They were large, heavy and flavorful. We were surprised to hear they were from Louisiana instead of MD. The mozzarella moons and brussel sprouts appetizers were also delicious.

Me and a friend went here to have crabs we made a reservations and pre ordered XL crabs. The top deck was cool the vibe was chill. There was a live band playing when we went. While we waited for crabs we ordered the sampler (wings,tenders, mozzarella moons.) the sampler was pretty good. However, we ordered honey old bay wings they brought out some sort of habanero wings. Not a big deal because we didn’t wanna wait for an exchange. The crabs still took about an hour even though we pre ordered. The crabs were huge and came out piping hot which is a plus but man did they lack in flavor like I’ve never in my life had crabs so bland. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu but the crabs are a huge no for me 👎🏾

I patronized the deck/bar. The food and drinks were good. The service was mediocre at best. The server did not come over and had to be engaged. Upon receiving the bill I saw gratuity was automatically added, I believe gratuity is a must but in this case I wondered if that had any bearing on my service.
