Nothing like it used to be! The food looked old but I still got it! I think they are under new management (Chinese) and the food isn’t seasoned. The yams and mac & cheese have no ingredients and the wings were clearly old. It’s definitely not soul food anymore! I’m so disappointed! I just knew I was in for a treat! Unless they hire new cooks they’ll be out of business soon. SMH I hope they read the reviews!

Potato salad very good, collards are tough, ribs are tough- unable to chew. I tried to put them in oven, it was too late because they were already messed up. Crunch fish was fried too hard til the meat dried out. Not fair to customer.
Lastly, but most importantly, the customer service is horrid to say the least; especially at the Mitchellville location.
Hopefully, it was just an off day for the chef(s). ( could be; could be not) COLOR PURPLE 🤣 or COVID could have scared the living crap out of them. After all, it was during COVID 19. 2/8/20 However, the attitude of the cashier was sooo disheartening along with her bonnet along with some of the servers that it made me ill to the stomach. 😳😡👎

One thing they need to do is fix a mac and cheese it tastes like it came out of a box everything else was good

My wife and I got home and the baked chicken wasn't even cooked all the way and the blackeye peas was Nasty and so was the greens THE WORST 😡😡😡😡TRASH CAN ASAP😡😡😡😡😡

Worst customer service

I came in about 5:30 with someone who had previously been there around lunch time and that individual was saying this is all the same food it all looked dry and just nasty !but I still purchased 132 $ worth and I bought pig feet and I g the pig feet was dirty I from the south so I know before you cook pig feet you must clean it throughly and I can taste when pig feet isn’t clean prior to cleaning it was horrible I will never be returning again the customer service was horrible and the food was nasty all of it went in the trash no one wanted there plate at home trying to support black own and loss 132$NEVER AGAIN

Customer service is the most issue. One day I asked while my food was not ready, One of the young man aggressively says He will beat me up, to my surprised he removed his shirt and began to push me out of the restaurant. The Second man hailed him in support. The risk is very high in there.

I went there today and the food being served was all old and dried up. I asked for a refund and the owner was rude and accused me of visiting there before when it was my first and last time there. Do not… repeat, do not purchase old food from this place or you may get sick. The fried rice was dry and crispy as if it had been there for days there was chicken in some sort of old gravy… disgusting! Thank God I went to pick my food up vs. letting Uber delivery it. Please save your money and your stomach.

I went last Friday to pick up a fish dinner at the Mitchellville location. This is suppose to be a buffet style restaurant. We did not make a special order but for some reason we were in there for more than a half hour. When we walked in there were 3 people in there. They are slow and I’m not sure if I will visit again.

It's been several years since I've been to Levi's and didn't realize they changed the setup inside to primarily take out. The food is pre-made and buffet-style, but that didn't effect the flavor.

I had the honey BBQ wingettes, Macaroni, and greens and a slice of Sweet potato pie. The wings and greens were my favorite of what I ordered. The wings were juicy and well seasoned and the greens were vinegary and meaty. The Macaroni was cheesy and noodles were perfect, but needed a tad more salt. If you scoop the greens and Mac and cheese together though, it's a perfect bite! The sweet potato pie was nutmegy and delicious.

I went in on a Saturday afternoon, so the restaurant wasn't busy and only had a couple of other customers in line ahead of me, so I was helped quickly. The gentleman who prepared my order was friendly and professional. I didn't encounter any of the issues others have experienced. But with the setup and large menu to browse, I could see how customers may be overlooked by the staff or not immediately greeted because there's A LOT to choose from when you first walk in.

Overall, very affordable and under $15 for a meal with 2 sides and bread. I think It's worth it for the price and fast service. I'll be back just for that pie, for sure!

Been coming here for years, but the chef out did himself today! Got my usual whiting dinner and everything was delicious but those greens were on a different level! Well worth the drive after church. Glad they are reopened after renovating. Nice, clean and spacious with new service people.
