Charming local bakery/cafe with delicious food and great service. Atmosphere is rustic but warm. It is definitely a place well loved by locals.
Some featured dishes on menu change monthly with some dishes constant throughout.
You can pick up coffee and baked goods or enjoy a full meal.
They also have seasonal offerings like Thanksgiving Pies.

I've been visiting The Buzz on a regular basis for several years now. It is one of my favorite places for great food, snacks, and coffee in this area. The cafe is a warm and welcoming place that makes you feel comfortable as you take in the artwork and enjoy a special small-town experience that is always a respite from the rest of the world. Thank you for continuing to make the world a more delicious and lovely place. Make sure you try their scones, oatmeal square, strata, coffees, and rotating themed menu specials.

Added a 30% tip to my bill with no option to review. Shady business practices.

Just getting around to writing this review a year later! We had The Buzz make a cake for our gender reveal party last summer and it was absolute perfection. We ordered the orange creamsicle flavor and it tasted so yummy! All our guests raved about the cake. They followed my inspiration photos to a T and we are so happy with the result. Highly recommend The Buzz for all your events!!

I try to visit the Buzz every couple of months, and it is always worth the trip. Staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the food is wonderful. I recently had a breakfast wrap that was perfectly cooked and substantial enough to keep me full and smiling until dinner. Decided to try one of their famed apple pies a month ago--I ordered it plain (usually comes as a French apple pie which I am sure is incredible as well), and it was the best apple pie we've ever had. It was 2 1/2 pounds of apples packed into a flaky crust---worth every penny. It was huge; served 6 of us and we froze half so we wouldn't devour it so quickly. It's probably a good thing we don't live closer!

I just enjoyed the most delicious breakfast pizza. The crew at The Buzz always comes up with the best ideas for their rotating menu and this month’s Breakfast Pizza is a stand out! A generous portion perfectly balanced with crispy on the bottom, chewy in the middle naan, homemade tomato sauce, bacon, sausage, cheese, topped with two poached eggs and micro-basil that brought it all together.

I was very pleased to have breakfast at this location. As a restaurant owner myself, I had to leave a review with high marks. I had the blueberry scone and the meaty sandwich, both of which were excellent. The specialty clicked coffee, and espresso were amazing— Everything was well put together. I highly recommend this place. It's wonderful to find gluten-free, freshly made from scratch foods.

I stop in to Buzz every couple weeks to pick up a scone or two and the gluten-free tart for my partner with celiac disease. The scones are always top-tier, but as a butterscotch lover, I have to say the oatmeal scotchie scone is just <chef’s kiss>. It’s absolutely worth stopping by (get there early before the scones sell out).

36 cupcakes for a VFW was $120. They were pretty small and of average quality. I could have made these myself with a box cake and lemon extract. I expected better for that price. Didn’t even get the lemon sprinkles promised.
Edit. The owner reached out to me today and has refunded my money. Thank you for having integrity!

Slowest service in history. Food over priced. Food was cold when received. Will never return. People came later and received food way before others.

The only word I have is disappointed. We went in this morning for two coffees and a plain bagel toasted with cream cheese. After a few minutes the lady in the back proceeded to ask us what we waiting on for which we told her the bagel and she rudely responded, it’s gonna be awhile you can wait outside. We weren’t feeling like sitting in 90 degree weather so we moved to the front of the restaurant where I proceeded to ask another employee If she had started the bagel because if she hadn’t, we would just happily take our coffees because we could tell they had a big order and she was stressed (totally fine). She got upset that we had asked the lady upfront and proceeded to start talking about us, mind you we were 5 feet away and could hear everything. As someone who works in customer service, it’s not hard to be kind even though it can be stressful at times. I used to like the buzz but the lack of customer service has left a poor taste in my mouth and I definitely won’t be back.

Love this little gem. It's a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or other daytime treats. So welcoming, too.

Great little bakery/restaurant in an unassuming location in Monrovia. Staff are always very friendly and attentive. The bakery goods, cakes and coffees are second to none. If you get a chance I recommend grabbing a table and trying one of their creative breakfast or lunch options. Their menu changes monthly and the food is fabulous.
