When my family moved to this area over 15 years ago, this place was recommended to us. Still, after all this time, this is the only Chinese place in the area that I will order from, after sampling many in the area (Frederick/MoCo). They have the best hot and sour soup in the area. Actually flavorful. The cream cheese wontons are different, not as crispy as you would expect, but the flavor is great. veggies are always fresh and crunchy, never overcooked. Both the more traditional dishes and the Americanized dishes have great flavors. Food is always ready fast.

Of the 5 different items that were ordered, dumplings, wonton soup, egg rolls, chow mein and lo mein, the best rating of each possible item was a "profoundly average." Of the food that was noticeably seasoned, flavor was average and not *well seasoned. The chow mein order did not arrive as chow mein but bland and soupy chicken and steamed veggies. The wontons in the soup had, at most, great texture when the broth tasted of old sink water. Egg rolls were the right texture but had little of impactful flavor. Dumplings were okay and had weak flavor. Lo mein was the best item ordered however it would not be included in a repeat order. The included fortune cookies even had a faulty misprint of a fortune with half a strip of paper inside. Of course this is no fault to the restaurant and was another less than good experience. This meal did not pique interest to order different items as this was a great disappointment.
