My Cup Runneth Over Southern Cuisine LLC (Carry-Out)

It was my first time here and the food was wonderful. The only concern I had was about my brisket baked beans and collard greens. I didn’t get even one piece of brisket in my beans! And barely feather of smoked turkey in my greens! Regardless of that I enjoy the food and service.

All the food is amazing. Best catfish in Montgomery County. Super fresh.

Good portions and good price

It's now become habitual to order this from here once a week. The food is excellent and the portions will feed you for days. I don't know where they get the ribs from but they are massive and cooked to perfection. The collards and pretty much every side is fantastic, and the desserts (especially the puddings) are equally as delicious as everything else, if not more.

If you want good southern food, this is the place to go. The chefs/ kitchen staff deserve an award. 11/5.

Pretty solid food.

Great soul food in the area and very friendly service. They live up to service with a smile. The owners came out upon request and gave a background on their restaurant.

The food is absolutely worth any weight you might have to obtain it! Highly recommend this place!!!

Spent $100 fish sandwich was NOT seasoned 3 orders of 10pc wings sides sweet potatoes/french fries was Not impressed for a $100 total I could have went to Americas Best Wings garlic Parmesan wings couldn’t taste garlic or Parmesan and henny wings no flavor 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 I wish I could get a refund cause this was not gd especially for a carry out and took about an hr I said ABOUT !!! just to fry wings and fish even if it’s made to order fresh w/multiple ppl and owner in the back yeah wont EVER go back didn’t even want the sweet potatoes cause if you can’t season fish or chicken I’m ??? sweet potatoes this is why I don’t really eat out when I can cook myself 2 containers of ranch for 30 wings and had to ask for that and looked at me as if I asked a difficult question only brought back 1 more half filled container food lacked flavor overall time consuming had a gd amount of staff

First timer! Very friendly service and a nice, clean and well lite establishment. The decor is southern /western. They even had a nice Xmas tree. It was clean and very well lite. The person assisting me was friendly and communicated well.

The food:
The whiting was well prepared, flavorful and hot.

The string beens were fresh from the garden not frozen or from a can. Very well seasoned and tastes like I made them. (😉). The collards weren’t bad made with Turkey but seemed to be a bit sweet. Not my favorite. The Mac/cheese, works. Seems to have been baked good flavor. The candied yams had a lot of vanilla extract but also wasn’t bad. The only dish I did not care for was the sweet potato pie. It was well cooked and looked good. Yet it needed more sugar and a pinch of salt. Salt removes the “fresh ” taste.

Overall food was good prepared well and I will be going back.

My Belly Runneth Over!!! Food is soo good. Fresh! Hot! Made to order. Found this spot while attending a HS basketball game nearby. Ordered the catfish, ribs, shrimp, and tons of sides. Everything was amazing, we ate the food in the car!! The garlic mashed potatoes were a let down...but the hush puppies....I ate them cold the next day!! I would definitely drive from NoVa to MD to eat here again. 🩷🩷

love this place full of love and happiness. owners are absolute rockstars!and the staff is full of love and vibes as well. CATFISH DINNER , greens, mac delicious definitely can tell they put time and effort into making it happen daily. soon as you drive up to the plaza you smell them delicious ribs being smoked out back😋

90 minute wait. Order was wrong. Dry Mac n cheese, fish was bad. What a waste of time and money. The one bright spot was the woman at the counter.

I just placed an order on Uber eats. I read the reviews on google and yelp and decided to take a chance. When I tell you this was one of the best decisions I made today. I ordered the catfish dinner with collard greens and yams as my side. The reviews about the yams were consistent. I personally don’t care for candied yams but these I could eat a gallons worth. Not too sweet. Just right. 10/10. The greens I was skeptical but they tasted on point there’s no vinegar taste in these greens. They were cooked and seasoned just right. Not salty perfect consistency and I loved the turkey neck meat good amount not too over powering. Now the star of the show. The catfish 12/10. Cooked just right. Deep fried just right. The breading is delicious the fish so good. Not salty just the right amount of seasoning in the breading. I feel like I am a catfish connoisseur. I love catfish and this is my first time finding it in this area at a carryout that’s giving fish fry in someone’s back yard. Was not greasy nice and crunchy. My food was also still hot! If yall have one fan in the president of the fan club. I’m not even done eating my food I just had to leave this review. You have a lifelong customer out of me.

As I ordered I was told 25 mins which is understandable because the food is "fresh" but it took 1 whole hour to cook 5 wings & 3 pcs of catfish. Was my first time eating here. Food was not good the Mac and cheese taste like velvet-a. Was not enough cheese very dry also way too overpriced. They don't know how to prioritize customers the girl in the front was new and not trained well at all she was taking a order & as she was taking it the phone rang so she then cut the customer off as we was ordering and picked the phone up to help the person on the phone when she should've put them on hold and then took the order. The man who was ordering walked out upset.
