I grew up in Brentwood and recently moved back to the area, and Joe’s has always been my go to Chinese carryout. I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always fresh, hot, and consistent. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the service is quick and friendly. Whether I’m in the mood for comfort food or just need a reliable takeout spot, Joe’s Carry Out never lets me down. Definitely a Brentwood, Mount Rainier & Hyattsville staple!
So far only had chicken wings and chicken steak subs, shrimp egg foo young was ok, gravy wasn't good , Hunan shrimp was good , good ice tea/lemonade mix and like they have delivery , but person who answers phone has heavy accent so gotta repeat yourself alot and they always seem busy and yelling lol but
I like the food from here but it's always the same when you arrive. You have to wait for one particular person to help you while the others just look at you. My guess is they don't speak English. The food is cheap and good so I will continue to go and wait for the one person who speaks English to come from the back to take my order.
