We usually like the food here. Today was my first time getting steak tacos and there was hardly no steak in the tacos just toppings. I also had a big piece of fat in one of my tacos. I paid $22 for flour tortillas and toppings!? I didn't complain in the restaurant but was disappointed with that. On top of that I chose to come here for my birthday lunch.

Really noisy here. We sat outside and it was still distracting to some of our party seated against the windows. Staff seemed to not keep track of tables outside. Food took a while to arrive. I've had better at this restaurant.

I made reservations through open table. We arrived and the hostess found my reservation and gave us the option to eat outside which we took. They asked us to give them a few minutes. We sat and waited. We were asked three more times including by the same girl who originally took us in who we were and if we had a reservation. Then the options started over. I pointed out that we had been through this already then we were then seated outside. Waiter was good and friendly. He gave us some recommendations which we took. Guacamole w/ lump crabmeat turned out to be the equivalent of one claw diced to oblivion. You could smell it but could barely see it or taste it. My wife ordered 2 margaritas during her meal. The first was good. The second was nearly or possibly alcohol free. The fajitas were good, but portions were small. The menus were raggedy. Falling apart and had food remnants on them.

The food portions are very small but the price is not. Still hungry after $250 for a family is crazy. Mexican food is supposed be plentiful. $5 for a sprite absurd. $21 for the same meal as a $12 kids meal unacceptable

The fresh-made guacamole was quite good -- they didn't need to add salt though. Another starter was the sampler cheviche -- nothing like or as good as what's served in Peruvian restaurants -- it was a 3.0 (out of five). But the real disappointments were the main plates -- one in our party ordered tacos al pastor -- which were fatty and with little taste. My wife order the Roasted Mushroom Huarache -- devoid of taste sitting on a thick tortilla. I had the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo -- which would have been outstanding except that the chef had very over-done the salt. The service was good and atmosphere was sort of upscale for typical Mexican fare -- but the food was meh -- especially for the prices charged. There's much better Mexican just about anywhere. Sorry Rosa.

TER-RI-BLE. Wanted to go out and try something new , more authentic but coming to Rosa Mexicano was NOT IT. First off, the selection of food options are very limited and not as appealing. I never spent 10 minutes looking at a menu and not even finding one thing appetizing to me. The service was just as bad as the selection of food, we never were asked for drinks and when it was time to leave our server took 15-20mins bringing back a to go box when the restaurant was almost practically empty. It was unpleasantly slow for no reason. Also way over charging for food that wouldn't even get a toddler full. If your looking for a good meal , save your time and money and go somewhere else.

I made two reservations for tonight a month ago. One for 6 people and one for 4 people. When I arrived with 9 coworkers from all over the United States, I was told that they only had seating for 8 people. What? No apologies from the three hostesses standing there. Just short and snippy replies to my questions on what my options were for seating 10 people like the original reservations that I made. So we crammed 5 people each into two booths each . The place was packed so the temperature in the restaurant was at least 82 degrees at 6:30pm. Everyone was sweating. We asked them to turn the ceiling fans which they did. It helped minimally. We asked them to pull chairs to the end of the booths so that 3 grown adults in suits didn't have to share a booth bench. They ignored our request. Using the restroom was a hazard. The hallway on the way to the restrooms was covered in a thin sheen of water making it extremely slippery. The bathroom sinks were covered in water and old paper towels. It was clear they hadn't been serviced in a long time. Overall it was a very embarrassing dinner to bring a professional group of people to. Disappointed as I expected more from Rosa Mexicana.

This restaurant at National Harbor is great at handling high volume timeframes which is essential when it caters to visitors for large conferences at the Gaylord (although reservations during those times are highly recommended). Good seating inside and out and clean restrooms. Food was good considering how slammed the kitchen gets with a full restaurant at lunchtime. If you pick less busy times, the food is excellent.

Delicious food and the service was great! The portion sizes are not huge so make sure to order an appetizer (my hubbie was still hungry after eating so we had to order an additional entree). I would definitely return here .

Waiter was not attentive. Food was good. Bathrooms were filthy and the floors in the restaurant were dirty and slippery. I have been to this restaurant several times with my friend who lives in Maryland and when I come in town, I always want to go here. Not sure I will be back. Also, it was my birthday my friend mentioned it as well as in the reservation and no one acknowledged it. Again...not sure I will be back.

Salsa is amazing as is the homemade guac! Get the pineapple habanero margarita. Don't be afraid of it! Very tasty! Just had salads and Chicken tortilla soups for dinner. Both were tasty! Get the churros! Excellent!

Reception desk unorganized, food and ambiance sub par. The wait was long, AFTER making reservations on Open Table. The table service was good, however the food was cold without seasoning. The ceviche was more reminiscent of salsa with a few small pieces of fish. Air conditioner not working. They had one portable air machine for the entire restaurant. Will not return.

We are outside and enjoyed our food and drink. We did venture inside afterward and there was no air conditioning so it was extremely hot. However, the staff was kind and overall it was a pleasant experience.

The air conditioner didn't work. We were sitting in the booth sweating. We weee told it hasn't worked in over a year IT WAS 100 DEGREES OUTSIDE!!!! The restaurant was using fans! Service and food were okay but couldn't enjoy my birthday meal due to temperature in the restaurant!!!

The food is excellent and the overall atmosphere is nice, but the service is almost nonexistent, even for water. Your server appears when food arrives and never again. Unfortunately, this has been our experience most of the time we go. The food is worth it, so we go back.
