The place feels like a small town bar where most people know you and welcome you in, making everyone feel like family and like they belong. The ambiance is comfortable with an open flame grill on display, a karaoke and band stage, a large billiards room, and an outside tiki bar for nicer weather.
The food is a very pleasant surprise and sets the bar incredibly high. It features bold flavors and expertly grilled meats, with a mouthwatering aroma of wood-fired goodness. The smoked ribeye is juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly to order with a perfect smoky crust. Sides like the garlic mashed potatoes and charred asparagus are impressive. A standout offering is the all-you-can-eat crabs on Saturdays, which is one of the best deals and includes crabs heavy with meat, plus AYCE wings, shrimp, fries, hush puppies, and soup. The wings have several flavors, the shrimp are nice sized and seasoned well, and the grilled peach cobbler dessert is unreal. The craft cocktail list is a pleasant surprise, with drinks like the smoked old fashioned that are on point.
The service is great, with friendly, attentive, and very nice staff that make you feel right at home. The ownership is also great. It is a must-visit for top-tier grilled cuisine, whether celebrating or just in the mood for great food and conversation. Karaoke is a popular event held every Wednesday night. This place nails every category — food, service, drinks, and atmosphere — and is an absolute must-try.
