Stopped by at 10am, they had a few pizzas and bread sticks out. Average quality for a Pizza Hut Express. If you like the personal pan pizzas they have, it's what they have. Pleasant service and a quick meal.

I actually should probably give this location a lower rating than three stars, but I feel like they tried. There were three small Personal pizzas under the heat lamp when I arrived. None of them looked very good. It was almost 9 dollars for a pepperoni pizza.

I passed them by and walked around the entire rest area and found nothing that interested me more than the pizza so I returned. Unfortunately, now there’s only one small pepperoni pizza so I took it.

At least the guy who took my money was pleasant and told me to drive safe. But when I got to my car to have my lunch, I was disappointed a little bit more. This was no better than a pizza I would get at the dash in or the High dairy store sitting under heat lamps. The cross did not impress me like Domino’s Pizza should. The sauce tasted like any gas station Pizza I’ve had.

Maybe I should stick to actual restaurants and not try to find something appealing at a rest stop

Frequently closed but when open has a small but good selection. Personal pan pizzas are smaller than many locations and expensive at $8.99 each. If you have the time, better off visiting nearby locations than this one at the rest stop, but it works if this is where you are stopping.

Negative if I could. Pizza hut was closed at 3pm in the afternoon. But kfc was open.

Would give zero stars. Waited 30 mins to get small cheese pizza combo. And finally cold pizza and breadsticks. Rude staff as cherry on top.

Very limited and didn't even give red crush peppers. Was very hard to munch down on a plain slice of pizza that was semi cold already.

Not open on a Sunday at 5:30

Driving home to DC from Cape Cod, I had to stop for some food for dinner. Pizza Hit was pretty much the only thing open at the Chesapeake House rest area at 8:30pm, so I opted for a meat lover's pizza (only option with any protein), but after eating half of it O'd had my yearly quota of salt, and it was just too much to go on. OTOH, there was no line, and Obwas served instantly.

Food was okay, what you would expect from a rest stop. The real issue was the wait time. When I arrived, around 8:00pm, they only had two employees working. One was taking orders while the other was preparing food in the back. Due to the number of customers, they fell behind on orders that were anything beyond the cheese pizza in the display case. I waited 20+ minutes for a pizza and bread sticks at this "express" location. The problem was not the staff themselves, they were kind and gave me extra bread sticks for the wait. Management needs to hire more employees.
