Such a fun time with our kids and grandson! Had a great meal at Woody's, then grabbed a quick sweet treat next door. The staff was fantastic, and it was all hands on deck to move customers through the line. All the ice cream was delicious!

I took my husband here for his 64th birthday, ok, so this was a good reason to satisfy my craving and jump off my diet for a quick 5 minutes of delicious pleasure. The staff there are young and am always happy to see young people work in 2023. The place was clean and had a big selection of ice cream, and I love the Statue's outside. I am sure both adults & kids would love having their pictures taken next to them. There are seats inside and outside that you can relax and do people watching. I recommend this place to everyone.

Ordered fish and chips with broccoli from Woody's in North East, MD. Menu states "add-ons" including broccoli are $2. We were charged $4. The manager insisted that that is only if we got broccoli INSTEAD of the fries. I explained that is NOT the definition of an "add-on". But he was adamant and really wanted the extra $2 and not the truth in advertising and return customer! Really? Just update your menu with the higher price! The fish was mediocre. The cole slaw was excellent. The broccoli was good.

Woody's Crab House takes its chances and puts reviews from customers for each meal on its website. They describe their fish and chips as in the tradition of an English Put. Having just returned from a trip across the pond. I can say it is in the top third. The reviews say its portions are enough for two meals. That is true for a senior citizens luncheon. But for an adult male who eats more than he should at a sitting, it was satisfying (even without making much of a dent in the chips (French fries.). Good Pub fish would be eaten with a newspaper wrapped around it, which means the fish shouldn't fall out in little pieces when you bite it while eating, holding it in your hand. It came out from the fryer really hot, but it kept the fish moist because it was wrapped well. The fish (Cod) was solid, so it held together after I bit off a piece. It was also served with Cole Slaw, which, unlike many others, was not vinegary bitter and did not drip off the fork. The staff all around was friendly. They were all smiles and making the customers feel comfortable, and not just my server, Tracey, who was attentive without being intrusive. Indoors or outdoors, you can view this quaint town that is worth a visit. So if you're on 95, stop in North East, Maryland, because there are so many establishments to satisfy a hungry and tired traveler.

Cute little ice cream shop located in the heart of North East. A nice assortment of flavors, and the teenage staff was pleasant and friendly. Prices were fair. A small is an ample size for an adult. The inside has a few tiny rooms that opens up to a larger one which was bright and inviting. The outside has an assortment of oversize animal statues for the kids to climb on and such, as well as a long bench on the porch. I thought the animals felt out of place, but the kids enjoyed them. Parking was harder to secure and we parked a few blocks away at a closed bank, but there is a pay lot nearby. The shop is located in a few block span of the main drag that's primarily small businesses, retailers, and eatries. It's a quaint little town and worth a stroll.
