Our server was very friendly and the decor is very pretty! I do wish they offered forks if possible for those of us who aren’t well versed in using chopsticks. My friends said their food was delicious, I was satisfied with the sushi but it wasn’t the greatest. Something definitely tasted off about the cream cheese and this is the first dragon roll that I’ve had that I really didn’t like. I’ve had eel before so I know it’s not me, but the eel here tasted very salty and slimy so I ended up picking it all off. Not finishing my sushi and not requesting a box to take the rest home is definitely a first for me. I’d be willing to come here again, but definitely not for the sushi.

First time there and yhe menu is very limited. We had miso soup with our order, but I've had better at other places. The eil with rice was rather good. My only issue was that one of the people that assisted at our table questioned why we wanted new cups for our water. First rule of service, never question the guest if they say that something is dirty!

Yesterday, 12/29/2023 was our first visit to this restaurant at White Marsh Avenue.Initially we ordered 2 entrees of Sushi.Omg!! They have the best Sushi in town. We ended up ordering 5 more orders and one order of veggie Ramen noodle bowl,Ambience was great. Super polite. Extremely hospitable and excellent service.Even the manager was so welcoming and pleasant.My 5 star rating for this restaurant. Must go place in town.

I have been to the Towson location of Akira before. The vibe felt different but the food was equally good. One of the best moderately priced Ramen places!
I am a at their White Marsh branch. I don’t have a problem with their food. However, every time we dine in, the staff always make you feel like they are rushing you out! I am a slow eater because I like to enjoy the experience of eating; then a staff would go to my table asking if I would like a to-go box or if I’m still working on my food. Of course I am! That was very rude! The only reason I always go back is the food but the service is awful! I still leave 15% tip for the chef…

The ambiance was chilled out. The food was decent, asked for extra garlic and scallions. Staff members were truly nice and patient. Much better than anticipated. Will return.
