I came here many times and there food is so delicious! Everything on the menu is amazing. The lady working is so sweet and gave us free drinks! The drinks were expensive to but she gave it to us for free. I love coming here and I always feel so welcome. They are always so nice and again the food is so amazing.

when this place first open it was great now the servings sz is small i spent $15 on barely any food. i understand raising prices but to raise prices and smaller portions is not worth it. i will not come back

We've been coming here for years. They are under new management and the new owners are very sweet. The food is always fresh and the spicy chicken is delicious. Will definitely be coming here regularly. Definitely check this place out next time you're at the Avenue.

I have been coming to this place for years and have never been so disappointed. They must be under new ownership because their prices have changed and now almost every topping is an extra charge which makes no sense for a veggie bowl. It’s disappointing to see the place decline like this but I would no longer recommend.

I went in today for the very first time. When I walked in, the place smelled greasy I was hesitant to eat there but I went ahead and tried the food. To my surprise, the food was good and felt fresh. While I loved their bowl, the Mandu was ok (wouldn't order it again).The service was really good and the sweet lady there was super nice.Food: 3.75 starsService: 5 stars

Hi. I went to brown rice Korean grill many days ago. I wish I posted a review sooner. The food is great, but the service is just purely terrible. The guy who works there, I think he is the owner, he kept asking me if I want things added to my bowl, and I kept saying yes. He didn’t tell me that the things were extra and I am going to be charged for them. For the small bowl, I was charged 20 dollars, and me knowing that I couldn’t do anything about it then, gave him 20 dollars. I would recommend going to the places where people won’t cheat you, and this is the place where people will cheat you.

I love this place but they have been closed for weeks if not a few months at this point. There’s no signs anywhere and no update on any of their social medias/updates on the Avenue pages. It’s a little disappointing. We used to eat here a few times a month ):

I want to eat here again, but there is no indication on whether or not this place is permanently closed anywhere. It would be great if there was a post somewhere about it.. I want to give them my business but I can’t when I have no idea when they are open. :/ Food is fantastic, but can’t get any if it’s never open. Shame…

The food is good but every time I order from here I get a message 45 mins my order was canceled. I tried to order on grubhub just now and I cant adjust my order. Done with this place. No problems with any other restaurants.

I was stationed in South Korea and being from Hawaii I thought the representation of Korean food isn't reflected here. It's food, but not Korean food.
This place is great! A lot of places are now doing their version of a bowl where they let you customize your rice, protein & sauce. They have something for everyone. I had to try the tofu! It was fantastic. I appreciate the vegan options & the fact that this restaurant is conscious about their environmental impact due to products used. Vegan food & plastic free drinks & chop sticks makes them a triple threat! The owner was extremely friendly! The food was priced fair, came out quick & was delicious. I will definitely be coming back for some more & if you give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

STEER CLEAR!!!. The only redeeming part of the experience was my friends and myself didn't get food poisoning. The food is wildly overpriced at the same time bland while using low quality ingredients. They were understaffed and undertrained. Ordering was an exercise in chaos and when you would and wouldn't get your food was all over the place.

so happy this place exists close by. Some of my favorite food is korean food and this place is spot on. their bebowls are amazing with beef bulgogi and pork belly added, their korean hotdogs ate the best ive ever tried, their kimchi jigae is delicious and they conveniently sell drinks like milkis other korean beverages. I hope one day they can start selling teokbokki, another favorite korean street food :)

I’m rating Brown Rice 3 stars because of their inconsistency. One day I can have great food, or days like today and many lately the food is way off. My rice was hard, they were out of kale which they didn’t put on their app or tell us until we got home and realized they just filled the bowl with romaine lettuce (which we don’t eat). They need to work on their consistency and their communication.

The girl who helped me was very nice. She took the time to explain the different dishes and sauces, etc. At first I thought it was pricey, but the portions are pretty good. I got a mixture of vegetables, kim chee and rice with pork.The food tasted great!
