I've been to Meringue many times. I always order something different, and never have I been disappointed!! (They make the best black bottom muffins!)
Last month I ordered cupcakes for a baby shower, and the cupcakes not only were absolutely beautiful, but so, so delicious. Everybody at the shower raved about how pretty and tasty the cupcakes were.

This place has everything you want in a neighborhood pastry shop including fantastic baked goods, breakfast/brunch items, coffee and tea, friendly staff, etc. However, you cannot stop in, grab a scone and coffee and get on with your morning in under 10 minutes. I’m not referring to when it’s busy either. Ordering something simple like a coffee and danish should take two minutes not ten. So, this is a great place, I come here very often but don’t stop by if you’re in a hurry.

Love this place iv had multiple cakes made for birthdays and other occasions and they never disappoint, just ordered my Daughters 4th Birthday cake can’t wait to pick it up in acouple days! The service is great as well everyone is always so nice

Such a cute cafe and outstanding bakery. Great service too. Ordered a cake for a special occasion, and stayed for lunch because it looked so good! The Mediterranean sandwich on ciabatta was delicious. The desserts we tasted were wonderful!

Received a call from a family member who was planning a 50th anniversary for his parents … but he forgot to order the cake.. one week before the celebration!! My daughter went up to Meringue the next day , ordered exactly what he wanted and it was ready the morning of the party !! SOOO many compliments on the cake !! 🎂

A nice, cozy place with seating. I ordered a BLT, a tiramisu, and 2 mini cakes. All were fantastic but the BLT was the best - savory girl here.
If you like BLT's you know the sheer disappointment of getting 2 slices of bacon on a pile of lettuce with a whisper of tomato and mayo -- this wasn't it as you can see!

We ordered a custom birthday cake and smash cake for my daughter’s first birthday party and it exceeded all expectations! Not only was the cake stunning to look at but it tasted just as amazing as it looked. It truly made her very first birthday extra special. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a delicious and beautiful cake for a celebration!

We always come here on weekends. It's a very cute local bakery/ cafe in Nottingham. They also make the most delicious cakes. We came in today, and they had new strawberry crossaint, and wow, that was the best one I've had. I love this place, and it's great to support local businesses. This would be an extra star for me if they had great coffee. Maybe for next year, add to Inventory an espresso machine and hire 1 barista. I would definitely not go to Starbucks. Haha.
