Highly recommend coming here for breakfast. Their sammiches are huge! Homemade cheddar biscuits are delish! Felt like $6 for a small tot was a bit much, but you get plenty of tots at least. Service was friendly.

I'm sad to write this review for Anthony's in Ocean City, a place that used to be a cherished family staple for years. In the past, we eagerly looked forward to their mouthwatering roast beef sandwiches and delicious burgers. However, ever since the change in ownership around 2020, our experiences have taken a sharp downturn, leaving us extremely disappointed.First and foremost, the abrupt early closures without any prior notice have left us bewildered and frustrated. It's disheartening when you plan to indulge in your favorite sandwiches, only to find the doors closed before their usual closing time. The staff's attitude about this issue makes matters worse, as they seem to brush you off as if you're being unreasonable for trying to enjoy their food during their posted operating hours.Another disappointing aspect of our recent visits is the apparent disdain for customers who are on vacation. It's perplexing to witness a shift in attitude towards visitors, considering that Ocean City thrives on tourism. Instead of a warm welcome, we have encountered complaints about tourists stopping by, which is perplexing given that their business likely relies heavily on seasonal visitors.Perhaps most concerning was our experience during the height of the pandemic in 2020. Anthony's had anti-mask signs displayed throughout the premises, a stance that felt out of touch with the rest of the world's efforts to combat the virus and protect public health. It left us questioning their commitment to the safety of their patrons and the community. The sad truth is that the once-beloved Anthony's has left a bad taste in our mouths. While we respect that businesses have the right to hold their own political beliefs, they should also prioritize offering a happy and welcoming atmosphere for all customers. It's disheartening to see a place that was once a highlight of our Ocean City trips now tarnished by these negative experiences. In the end, we hope that Anthony's can rediscover the warmth and hospitality that initially made us fall in love with their food. Until then, we'll have to look elsewhere for our sandwich and burger cravings when we visit Ocean City.

I ordered a ham hoagie. Their web site said it would be $16.50, but I was charged $19. It was built backwards, at least for me. Lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese were on the bottom. Not necessarily a problem, but then the ham was just thrown on top, very sloppy. It was impossible to eat. I ended up removing about half the ham so that I could pick up the sandwich and eat it. The ham was tasty, but it was very fatty. A complete disappointment. I won't be going back.

Just had Anthony's for the last time after eating here for decades. They used to have the best chicken and now say (all summer) that the fryer is broken. If you are not going to serve something anymore, even thought it's still on the menu, then just say we're not doing chicken any more. Went there for a roast beef sandwich and a ham and cheese sub w fries. After trying the under cooked fries, we put them in the toaster oven which didn't help. The ham and roast beef did not appear to be fresh sliced. $38 later we threw out both sandwiches after choking down half. Good Bye Anthony's. I understand they have bee sold. Another old OC place lost.

Mikey and Brittney care so much for the customers and their environment. These two do everything to make this an enjoyable experience... wish they worked for me!

This used to be my favorite sandwich shop I would drive from Clayton, Delaware to Ocean City just to get a rose beef sandwich. We went today and they told us they were closing because they didn't have enough customers. We sat there and heard them. Tell another couple that they were shutting down because the internet didn't work and they couldn't take in anything. We had just left and they didn't have a problem using your register to ring us in the food has gone downhill. They were too lazy to put on their website that they were closing early and would be closed tomorrow for employee recognition.
