Not a bad breakfast spot. Except the wait ended up being 1 hour for 4 people party. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the building, meaning this setup is not ideal. You walk up a few flights of steps to talk to a host who takes your phone number and then you walk back down those steps to wait for whatever amount of time it takes. They stop serving breakfast at 12pm so if you don’t get on the list soon enough and you want breakfast, you might miss breakfast time due to the long wait. The meal was pretty standard to be honest. The prices are a little high for a breakfast. The monkey bread and bread that comes with your breakfast is very good though, I’ll give them that.

We had a great server, she had us smiling everytime she came over to the table! Food was very nice with sizeable servings! I really enjoyed the B.A.L.T. and would recommend it if you're a fan of avocado toast.

Food was delicious, our waitress Megan was excellent, drinks were BOGO for happy hour. Great experience. We had the King of the Fries (Parmesan truffle French fries with crab dip and bacon on top) which were DELICIOUS! The fries were thin cut and crispy and the serving of bacon was as outrageous. I ate so many of them that I could barely touch my entree. I had the Whiskey Rebellion burger which had bacon onion jam and blue cheese. I asked for medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. My friend got Pulled Pork tacos which were also excellent. A little bit wet on the bottom but hard to avoid with tacos in my opinion. Mango salsa went great with the Carolina style pork. For drinks, I had the coconut crush which was the only thing I didn’t enjoy, it was bland, tasted watery like too much ice had melted in it. My friend had the Monkey Punch which was strong and flavorful. Our waitress Megan was attentive, friendly, overall outstanding. The atmosphere was slightly lacking, we ate on the upper porch area and there were lots of bugs and not much of a view. Overall I would highly recommend the Bad Monkey in OCMD!
Arrived on Sunday a few minutes after noon and was told breakfast no longer served and lunch not available for one hour. Very disappointed because I love the waffles and breakfast used to be served all day.

Got there bright and early and were seated immediately. The monkey bread was fantastic as usual as well as the cold brew. The breakfast tacos with the chorizo were excellent. Always a favorite food stop when in the area. Had to get some of the delicious coffee beans from the gift shop downstairs to go as well.

Love the coconut crushes! Also love the fact that they give the kids wikki stix. Both times I’ve been service has been good. Food is ok but not amazing. Nothing to complain about.
