The food was extremely low quality , the service was good . I took my wife out to Thanksgiving dinner as a treat for her. The food was very dissapointing for a $165 bill for 2 people. I felt bad for the staff . We are always looking for new places to dine at the beach. Do yourself and your family a favor and skip this one.

Most of the food was cold to Luke warm. The signs read Traditional but the only item traditional was the turkey. Mashed potatoes watery, dressing was mush and no taste, also crab corn soup no Old Bay so it was not Md. Most of the people around me getting food were also making comments about how poor everything looked. Gravy was gone; there was no one checking on the food the burners were not on to keep food hot. This was the 1st and last time to take family there. We were told that the chef was new but for Thanksgiving there should be standards.

First off we had reservations for Thanksgiving so I can understand this was a more busier time perhaps than normal. Reservation was for 2 at 2 pm but could not be seated until 2:30. No tables were available or needed to be cleaned. Again, had a reservation. Check in girl had her hands full in also having to seat people and only saw one waitress one time but they handled in stride. Did sit at the bar which was nice to wait and had good drinks. Had eaten here years ago for Thanksgiving and the food was terrific. This time, the mashed potatoes tasted well but a bit on the runnier side. I prefer sweet potatoes not chunked but creamy and mashed. Taste was good however. Stuffing was a bit “gummy” and undercooked but good flavor. Felt the ham was not from the bone but a canned version as it was ok. The gentlemen cutting the turkey disappeared and my husband had to wait 20 minutes for him to return only to find the serving was 3 small slices of white meat with no dark meat to be found. Had hoped for butter nut squash soup from years past but did have cream of crab with corn chowder. Good flavor. Finally, the dessert was mediocre. The pumpkin and apple pie were not homemade but appeared store bought. I wasn't a fan. Overall experience was alright but probably try another restaurant if in the area for Thanksgiving.

This was the Thanksgiving buffet that I went to. There was plenty of food and it was a very organized affair. Last year seamed to be a bit more of a selection of food items but it was still very very good. I missed the peel and eat shrimp but maybe next year!!

The Thanksgiving Buffet was our first experience at the Reef Restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to see the food displayed at different stations so we didn't have to stand in a long line. We were seated right away, and the food was delicious! Our waiter was great. He kept checking with us even while he was busy with other diners. I will definitely be dining at the Reef Restaurant again.

We had a wonderful time on Thanksgiving at the Reef 118 restaurant. The ambiance was unmatched, the restaurant is beautiful with a view of the ocean. We were greeted by the friendliest face, and welcomed into the restaurant by all the attendants at the buffet. Every person we interacted with from our server, to the gentleman carving the turkey, to the gentleman standing near the buffet to assist, was so pleasant and overly friendly and had a smile on their face. The staff that showed up on Thanksgiving made the experience extra special. We were happy with all the food, and everyone around the table was very satisfied! We have five adults and three children and we would absolutely come back and recommend the Carousel for your next holiday buffet meal!

The Food was not very good the waiter got a few items wrong. Drinks were not high quality for what was charged. Will never recommend or go back again.

Good, decent restaurant. I wish it was one floor up so I could actually see the ocean. I picked this place for being oceanfront, but only saw the greenery and outdoor seating in front of me. If you eat outside I wonder how fast the service would actually be. I noticed you are in the same vicinity as people coming from the beach using the out door showers.

Food was good, for AYCE. Until it wasn't. Waiter on the third plate brought out some soggy water dripping out crab legs. Cracked em, meat almost completely gone. Tossed and asked for another. Just barely better. Asked for the bill. Waiter handed it to me and then proceeded to take the order of 24 people he just sat next to my family of four. Complete chaos. Thank god they had an arcade for the kids to play, while we waited and our table was cleared around us.

The Easter buffet was plentiful, everything fresh, and a nice outdoor view. Staff was very attentive and overall a pleasant experience.

Lindsay was absolutely amazing and made for a great night. I may not be the boss, but she deserves a raise!

We got there at 5 for our reservation at 5 on 11/29 The bartender was coked out and didn't have time to provide any service/ overcharged for drinks and talked poorly about customers in front of them. The food was ordered once we sat and there were only 2 cooks and 2 servers. We waited over an hour 1/2 for our food- we were the 3rd table sat, the server was the best thing from the experience- she went above and beyond to make up for everyone else's poor people skills and service. Our server deserves the mangers job ! The manager was no helping expo the food/ he didn't help run the food/ he didn't offer anything to tables waiting. He did fix the overcharge for drinks but that was it, he could have done so much to help those servers from drowning and could have helped BOH make sure all plates were arriving to tables. He chose to sit on his phone and let his staff drown ! I will not be back with my family to stay at or dine at carousel hotel! It's went down hill from the dirty room to horrible service. AYCE crab legs are a scam here it will take them almost 2 hours to bring you your first plate so that will be all you get. It's a joke,

This was my 3rd year attending the Thanksgiving Buffet at the Reef Restaurant for Thanksgiving. Our seating time was 5pm. We were not impressed with the set up for dining. It was not the usual cozy setting as we were seated in one of the banquet rooms. We were shown to our table and told the food was in the room next door. After going through line for food, we went back to our table, only to find we did not have silverware. We had one of the service staff get silverware for us which took several minutes. By that time our food had cooled down. Not impressed. The can sodas were way too expensive. The dessert left much to be desired. I am sure next Thanksgiving we will ponder whether to make reservations.

Had last seating of the evening. The food was picked over. Some was never replenished. It was bland and needed seasoning. The hotel was oceanfront but the seating was in the reception areas. Large rooms with no view or windows. The drinks were cash only. No one carries cash anymore. The 2 employees we spoke to were pleasant. Not the atmosphere I was hoping for
