Barrio Taco is amazing! My husband & I love their food. We were so happy to find out they now have indoor seating so we could stop in during our Christmas trip!
Everything I’ve tried is so good. The tacos, quesadilla, everything with birria! Also love their agua fresca. My husband loves the carne asada. Someone near us got a delicious looking dessert that I wish I had tried. Wish I could stop in more often!

I don’t usually do food reviews but barrio taco was absolutely terrible. I got 2 “birria” tacos and 2 asada tacos and a quesadilla. The birria shells were not fried and the consume tasted like soup out of a can. The “asada” quesadilla had questionable meat on it. I assume it was just leftover bbq meats from next door. The steak was white and lacked any kind of flavor resembling Mexican food. The BBq meat tasted like “brisket” you get pre packaged from Sysco. I ordered online in the parking lot and walked in to check out the dining room. I told all three staff members I just placed a to-go order and was told to sit at the bar to wait for the food… 30 minutes later the food still hadn’t come out. The bartender was very nice and was looking all around for our food when she finally found it in another kitchen or pickup counter? The food was cold by the time we opened the bag up. Super disappointed. Waste of money.

Service and food are amazing! We stopped in on a Monday afternoon in October when it wasn't too busy so I can't speak to how service is during a rush but everyone was friendly and our waiter was on top of it! We got nachos which ended up being the best nachos I've ever had! Portions are big and it isn't pricey at all! We will def be making this a spot to stop at every time we're in OC.

Chris our bartender and the other blonde bartender was so amazing and so helpful! They were just what we needed for our first stop in OCMD. Fried chicken was super yummy! Such a nice vibe!

Tamales, salsa, and pozole were all authentic, legit, and delicious. Will eat there again.

Great food! We sat at Barrio, but were able to order from both Annabel’s and Barrio menus. Our server was awesome, food was excellent, and turnaround was quick. Highly recommend!

Just WOW!
Barrio was great as a small carry out place.
Now it’s combined with the Best BBQ in OC!
So Smart of the owners, BEST OF BOTH WORLDS and the place is Big and looks awesome! You Literally can order ANYTHING they offer and you to will be like “ Damn, that was awesome” footnote Chris Farley ?

Pretty unauthentic tacos. Quality was.At best a three. Pricey for what you’re getting. Food was extremely mediocre. No flavor, no sauces. Barbecue sauce for tacos crazy. I am Mexican btw

Not impressed..had the chicken quesadillas. The tortilla was dry and the cheese wasn't delicious either. The chicken wasn't very flavorful. The pico de gallo was mostly onion, not enough tomato. Churros were the only thing that were okay. Maybe it was an off night, idk. But can't say I recommend it.

This is our new favorite Mexican food in Ocean city. The Barrio tacos and fried chicken were amazing. Great service and plenty of seating.

Best Mexican food spot in OC. Just trust me, if you’re looking for solid Mexican food, Barrio will not disappoint. The queso is out of this world, and so is ghetto rest.

This was hands down the worst Mexican food I’ve ever tasted. There wasn’t anything authentic or flavorful about the food that was served. What makes me an expert at authenticity?…Many years of travel and Latin family members from different countries. The guacamole was avocados ran through a food processor, the tacos were more smoked bbq meat than asada, the quesadillas were crunchy with no melted cheese (oversized taco). The only thing that was great was the water and the service.

They do not serve authentic Mexican food, it was very bland and lacked in multiple areas. The guac barley had jalapeños or onions, oh and the chips tasted like store bought sprinkled with some seasonings and toasted. The chicken quesadilla was anything but authentic, the flavor was not there and the cheese wasn’t melted. The asada tacos did not come with carne asada, instead it was some type of smoked beef. Very disappointed.
The server we had was good, pleasant, and attentive.
