Will not go back here. Service was horrible. Waitress only paid attention to us when she was delivering our food. Had to flag her down to order more drinks. After eating, she just asked if we wanted our check...never asked if we wanted dessert. Restaurant was very busy, so I think it was just too much for this particular server. Food was mediocre at best.
I reached out directly via FB messenger which they saw and got no response. Not surprised. 306.00 with tip and they could care less.
I’ll start with the bad, to get it out of the way- as the rest was all positive. The service was poor, from start to finish the service was off the mark, and the only reason for my Average review - otherwise this would have been a Very Good. The food was very good, homemade and amazing blue cheese dressing and the family recipe Crab Imperial was top notch. The fresh seafood (steamed shrimp and oysters on the half shell) were fresh and delicious. The view of the bay is mesmerizing to say the least. A wonderful sunset if you time it right. They did a great job of following the CDC COVID-19 guidelines, as we always felt safe. All around very good - hopeful for better service next time... with food and atmosphere that good - there will certainly be a next time.
We tried BJ's on the water on a whim for a late lunch, and really liked it. We sat outside and had an umbrella so it was not too hot. We started with the crab dip and I had the grouper pan fried with blue cheese and my hubby had the twim crab cakes. Both were excellent and very filling. Servers were great!
great place had stuffed flounder dinner was special or $15.99 that was perfect in preparation and flavor best meal I had this year. The Bartender server Frank was great and informative. Great Service
No salt on the French fries. No flavor to the food. It was just bland. The atmosphere was fantastic though.
This was one of the few restaurants open near my hotel during off-season and the pandemic, but I was very impressed with the service and social distancing. Tables were well spaced, outdoor seating was available if you wanted it even though it was a bit chilly. I had a delicious fish wrap and a great cocktail for a good price. They have great daily off-season specials too! Highly recommend!
Went this evening and took some friends that had never been. Our server came to the table and seemed to be OK, but not inter acting like the other server that was there. Drinks were messed up when brought to the table. Food came out wand was good as always when it came time to pay, we asked her if we could spit the check, she said, only equally, we all questioned why? She said I don't know, do you wanna see the manager, and walked away. He came over and explained that we should have said that from the beginning that we needed split checks because they have to do it at the beginning of the transaction. The could split it into thirds if we had another card. Which is what we ended up doing. When the server brought the cards and receipts back, one of my friends said that we were sorry if she felt we were trying to be difficult. She started to argue with him and then said , "You know, whatever, I don't even care" and walked away. Maybe she was having a bad evening but she should have been sent home, I have never had a server argue with a guest.
The food was great & the view across the bay is breath taking! What a beautiful place for a romantic dinner! Frank the bartender was very attentive and and made you feel at home ....no wonder he's been there 29 years!!!! Very inviting place to be, you MUST try their fabulous menu!!!
Wonderful. Great food, helpful employees and good Prices. Better than a lot of other fish restaurants in neighborhood. Best stuffed flounder ever. First time we had dinner there and will return again.

The view of the bay is fantastic, but not much else here. First impression upon entry yields that familiar stale beer on wood floor smell from college from a bar area that fronts the building. In the back is the aforementioned fantastic view from a pretty pleasant dining area. Food is meh. Cream of crab soup was watered down, and the grilled chicken breast on the teriyaki was wildly overcooked. Seafood potato skins have such potential, but they're buried in melted cheese. Grilled mahi mahi was passable. Service was relatively ok. I can't say "don't go here," but I will say "I told you so" if you do.
We came for dinner since we arrived early week during off season and much was closed. We sat on the deck and watched a beautiful sunset. I was a bit nervous because the mask wearing by staff was iffy. Regardless our server was super nice. Food was good. We got crab dip which seemed to be mainly filler so we would not recommend it. The entrees were pretty good and generous portions...we had leftovers for lunch the next day. Don't think we would come back with so many other choices around but if you are looking for a quick bite around sunset it isnt a bad spot to stop at as long as your expectations aren't too high.
We've only done take away a couple of times, but the food is SO good! When I call to place the order, the staff is always very cordial & polite. Picking up the food is always very fast.
Wonderful, attentive service outside. Our server was friendly, personable, and politely helpful. My husband ordered the Lump Crab Imperial and said it was phenomenal. I ordered a burger "well" and it was rather dry and very charred on the outside, but that's always a risk I take when getting burgers fully cooked, so I'm not taking stars off for that. Views were lovely and the seagulls and other waterfowl were quite polite about waiting until you either got up from the table, or at least set your plate off to the side, before stealing any leftover bits and pieces. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we were glad we stopped there for a late lunch at the end of our mini-off-season vacation to Ocean City. It was definitely worth it.
We came only on the advice of my wife. She had been here before with friends. Can day day the decor is nice and there seems to enough sitting for any day and time. The food was good, especially my wife's salad. She ordered grilled shrimp and received fried shrimp. It took a awhile for this to be corrected. We had to ask several times for things that we had asked for previously. The server seemed distracted the whole time. Just a note here that it was not busy at all, and there was plenty of staff on hand. Would try again since my wife enjoyed her meal overall. Please note that it seems on other reviews that customer service is an issue here.
