Wonderful place with friendly, attentive staff, awesome food and warm atmosphere. They gave my wife and I a table with a view so we could watch the sunset over the bay.
Absolutely awful food, got the snow crab bowl and it was so dry. Everything was lukewarm. Mussels were alright, cant say anything on the clams. Sausage was pretty good. Crab was horrible. Very hard to open, as there was no tiny fork to use? Once open it all fell out in tiny flakes. Very dry, didnt get a single good piece. Most of the flakes I got out came with shell attached so wasnt edible. Didnt try the corn. Also the butter was awful. Potatoes tasted undercooked. Only redeeming factor was the comped it.

Drove 3 hours to this location By the way I called before I even showed up and they told me they had Crabs. I asked them will they still be there once I come at a certain time and they told me yes. Got there on time ready to put in my order. Put in my drink order and got ready to place my order for blue crabs for them to tell me, Oh I’m sorry but someone took the last order. How do you run out of Crabs. Then they try to offer me steam pot. By the way a fly came with my drink so I almost drank a fly ? but the crab dip and steam shrimp was amazing

Me and my husband visited this location while passing through. We were met with wonderful service and great food. We had a wonderful view of the water while we ate some fresh steak blue crab. I will say it was a little cold in the building, but other than that, wonderful experience!

We have been to OC quite a few times we always see BLU. We decided to finally try them and glad we did. We are greeted by a Lovely Hostess and seated. Our Server Michael brought us some water and then asked us for our drink order. Wife ordered a Strawberry Lemonade. I ordered a virgin Pina Colada cause I don't drink liquor. Once our drinks came out, Wife asked if we could switch tables so she could look at the canal. Michael, say yes and once seated we ordered of food. Maryland Crab Cakes with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. I ordered Halibut with a creamy risotto. The Halibut was cooked perfectly flakey and moist. Wife never ate Halibut, so she tried a piece of mine. Surprisingly, she liked it. Michael was cool I know he had fun with my drink cause it was alcohol free. He is an excellent server attentive making sure we were good. Michael, brought me a large draft Miller Lite 24oz. Wife and I definitely will be returning to BLU whenever we visit OC in the future. We visited in May

This is a great spot in OC. Fun atmosphere in a great location. There are many options for oysters (so many that we went back the next day)! I would recommend Blu to anyone looking for a great Maryland meal.

My husband and I spent the past few days in Ocean City for our anniversary. The first night we came to Blu Crab house and the service and food was absolutely amazing. I wish I remembered the young lady name that was our waitress the first night. The food blew my mind. We both had the mixed crab pot. It was the best seafood I had ever and the seasoning set it all off. Definitely recommend this place. The staff was polite and helpful.
Wanted to have an early dinner so we arrived just before 4:00pm just as they were opening. We were a little surprised to see three of the wait staff walk in just ahead of us. We were the first in the place... the dining room is very big. Server was nice but things took way too long to get done. We ordered 2 crab ball sandwiches with fries...they were great!Seriously though... Open at 4pm = Ready at 4pm.I recommend the food and hopefully after my next visit I can recommend the service.

(4) Ladies out for their birthdays. 1 ordered chicken dish that was supposedly grilled and could not even be cut with a knife-had to be sent back after we asked 2 servers to send our waitress back to the table since she was MIA in the very empty restaurant. 2nd ordered snow crabs and they arrived cold and clearly old. 3rd asked for lemon, salt and pepper for her very dry flavorless fish that was supposed to be crusted with pistachio. (and was not). Waitress took so long to bring it back that the rest of us took the lemon out of our water and gave it to her to use on her fish. I was the host of this get together and had wanted to come here since it opened. It was a huge disappointment, and I will not go back and will warn others. It was the low point of a week of celebrating our birthdays.

We had the crab cakes and halibut dinner. The highlight was our wait staff Lindsey L. We got exceptional service from her. She was extremely nice and attentive and was working very hard. One of the most pleasant wait staff we came across in all of our travels. Her smile is so infectious. We cannot thank her enough for her warmth and kind hospitality.
The place is magnificent. Very friendly staff and the vuew is great. Drinks were great as well. Would highly recommend seafood pasta,t was excellent
