10/12/2024. We were out for beers and stopped at several pet friendly bars/pub/restaurants to drink.
Bourbon St was recommended by a local, and they were right. Great atmosphere the back deck is dog friendly and the even have a dog menu, and was very relaxing.
Are server DAVID was absolutely spot on, and his personality made you feel right at home. Thank you David for an awesome time.
A band was setting up but we added out for another stop

Customer service was great. This was our second time here, the first experience was definitely better. My burrito was just ok, my husband enjoyed his jambalaya and the bread pudding was magnificent.

What an awesome place! Had the seafood pasta and it was delicious! Nice lumps of crab meat, crawfish, scallops, and shrimp. Can’t wait to go back and try more

Awesome place! Happy Hour can't be beat. $1 oysters during Happy Hour. Stopped numerous times on my last trip. Prime Rib special can't be beat, $17 for a 1lb cut and (2) sides. Rib was perfectly cooked, not overly fatty, and cut with a fork tender. Highly recommend this place, very friendly staff.

Went last night with two friends of mine, and the experience was extremely underwhelming.

The overwhelming theme of the meal was the lack of air conditioning. We sat in the dining room and the hostess didn't bother to mention that their AC in that section didn't work. I'm talking 85F+ with no air flow. It was actually more comfortable outside after we left. Our waitress DeAnna was very friendly but it couldn't make up for the lack of climate control.

As for food, we had the crawfish hush puppies, seafood potato skins, and mozzarella sticks. The hush puppies were awful; there wasn't a trace of crawfish flavor and they were overcooked and dry. The potato skins used a cheese blend that didn't compliment the seafood and there was no seasoning on them. The mozzarella sticks were pretty good, but honestly at a Cajun restaurant your mozzarella sticks shouldn't be the pinnacle of your appetizers.

Salad with the Cajun ranch dressing was fine.

We had two beers and a mixed drink, the mixed drink was fine but the beers came out not very cold and they rapidly got warm cuz no A/C. This might have been the only time I've ever only had one beer for dinner.

Entrees were a bit better. I had the blackened prime rib which was a decent sized portion that was cooked to temp and had a ton of flavor. The browns as a side were decent. One of my friends ordered the jambalaya as mild, but found it didn't have much flavor at all and minimal protein. My other friend ordered the filet topped with crab and thought the steak and crab were great, but was unpleasantly surprised by the boring white rice as a side.

Two of us brought half our entrees home and ate them an hour later when we could enjoy them... in air conditioning. I don't mean to harp on the lack of air conditioning, but the hostess didn't warn us about it, our waitress didn't offer to move us to the bar area where it was more comfortable, and we just tried to get out as soon as possible when otherwise we would've stayed for dessert and more drinks.

In my opinion, skip appetizers and avoid it entirely until they get their A/C working reliably.

Been to the place a few times. My gf and I went for happy hour and some food. Was told there would be live music. Didn’t see any as the guy was drunker than we were since the server brought him drinks instead of us We were done before he was close to setting up. Once the waiter brought our food he informed me that he had dropped my burger on the ground and they would get me another one. They brought me another one which I’m not convinced is as another a new one. As I took my 3rd bite I had to pull a long black hair out of my teeth like I was flossing. That was the end of that experience for me. Service was terrible, music was non-existent, and food not good even if you get a hairless meal. Do not waste your time or money here

The seafood pasta and bourbon bread pudding were incredible. Live music on patio and inside. Happy hour every day from 3-6.
