If I could give this place a negative I would if I could. Being in a military populated state, they wouldn’t accept military ID (a federally recognized ID, even more than a regular non real ID license) as a form of identification. Probably because they lack familiarity with how to read it and just resorted to saying they don’t accept it because the kid at the counter didn’t know where the birthday was. When I asked why they don’t accept a federally approved identification the guy straight up ignored me. Lovely place. Not worth the disrespect.

Caroline was the cashier Mr. Irwin made my food and I spoke with the owner. We came down here for a bike week 2025 and I can honestly tell you it was not only beautiful, but the calzone was absolutely delicious and so big that I couldn’t eat it all. Please come and give them a try if you’re ever down here in Ocean City at the grand Hotel one of the best restaurants ever! Worth the price every cent so delicious

So I saw a review about the pepperoni pizza at Buona Vita and decided I had to try it for myself. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. I added mushrooms on top just to mix it up and OH. MY. GOD. It was next level. Like, seriously… the crust was perfect, the sauce had just the right kick, and the combo of pepperoni and mushrooms? Absolute fire🔥

Okay, I have to talk about the pretzel at Buona Vita… it’s honestly insane. I live in Ocean City and I seriously can’t stop coming here just to get it. It’s soft, warm, perfectly salted, and has that buttery flavor that makes every bite feel like comfort food heaven. I know Buona Vita is all about the pizza, pasta...(which is also amazing, obviously), but do not sleep on the pretzel. It’s that good. If you’re in OC and haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out.
