I had an amazing dining experience at The Captain’s Table Restaurant and Bar! The Captain’s Warm Crab Guacamole was the perfect start – so fresh and flavorful. I also tried The Barn & The Bay, which was a delicious combination of land and sea, and the Surf & Turf was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere, service, and food were all top-notch. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a memorable meal

Captain's Table is consistently excellent, which is surprising for a hotel restaurant in Ocean City. We've never had a bad meal there, and the prices are decent for a restaurant in its location. The chocolate martini is a family favorite.

Wow. What an unfortunate experience. If you're looking for any type of vibe this isn't your place. We are in our upper 50s and we lowered the average age twenty years. The food was not good at all. I sent back a steak that was cooked to death after asking for it to be medium rare. The second one was done correctly but cold because it must have been left sitting. A mini bottle of Prosecco was $15. I'm not cheap but at least pour it from a bottle to give it some feeling of value. We will never go back here.

Food was not worth the price and server was not professional. Wouldn't recommend.

Hostess was less than friendly but our family wasn't going to let that damper the experience. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was subpar. My mother and daughter got the crab bisque and both ended up extremely ill later in the evening. Portion sizes were very large but I would not return.

There was a man playing piano which made for an awesome ambiance. I had the prime rib. It was o e of the best I've ever tasted. Also the crab soup was delicious. Will definitely visit again.

1) The girls greeting and sitting us were rude and could not understand us. We asked for a table and for some reason it was a big deal.
2) The 2 plates of food we got that were prime rib dinners that cost $38.00 were ice cold. Also the prime rib was nothing but fat and was so tough we could not cut it with a steak knife.

We have eaten here in the past and the atmosphere was top notch. People were dressed nice and there was an older lady who greeted and seated us. We felt welcomed. Also, the owner personally cooked our steaks and they were beyond perfect. That is why we came back. This time was like a Denny's only priced 3 times as much.

No, I did not want to talk to a manager because I figured it would not do any good. I No, I do not want any kind of compensation. I just wanted you to be aware of your surroundings. Absolutely horrible! Food was ice cold. Terrible service. Nobody could speak or understand English. Food was disguising and the prime rib was nothing but fat and you couldn't cut it with a knife. It was like Chucky Cheese on steroids with all the kids screaming and running around. Denny's would have been better. I will never go back. Definitely has gone downhill from years ago when the owner actually took pride in his restaurant. I get it. Shove as many through as you can. Take their money and don't look back. What a shame how this restaurant was years ago. But hey word of mouth it won't last long. Do Better. Quality over quantity. It's really not that hard to figure out. Our bill was over 80 dollars, What a waste of money,

(September 2024) Haven’t seen any recent breakfast reviews so I’ll write one.

On our last morning here (Sunday Sept 1), I ordered the typical American breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, and English muffin) and my wife ordered the pancakes. She also got a side of scrambled eggs and a bowl of fruit.

Food and service were excellent!

Cute dining experience inside the Courtyad Marriott Ocean City. I had the oysters Rockefeller and the boneless ribeye. Both were delicious and served hot and freshly made. My dinner date had the shrimp cocktail and the bacon wrapped scallops- both also very good. I also enjoyed the cold brew martini, a twist on the popular espresso martini trend. The only tiny downside was that we sat in the bar tables, and I think it slowed our service a bit but not enough to downgrade our stars. I just recommend sitting in the regular seating area, unless you specifically enjoy bar seating and service.

Good place for a nicer meal while at the beach. Definitely a steak and lobsters type of dinner.

No great view, though. We were greeted warmly and service was prompt.
