We recently attended a wedding reception at the Cork Bar. I was very impressed by the patience of the bar staff and the wonderful food. There was plenty for all. Our friends raved about the buffet and the drinks. We will certainly return.

LITERALLY THE BEST BAR IN TOWN! Coldest beers, best prices for the boardwalk! Picture your favorite back home dive bar and know the staff and the crowd will always match that "at home" feel! Their kitchen is usually open late with the BEST cheesesteak sliders in town! I promise you won't be disappointed making this a stop in your vacation ❤️

So this comes with a heavy ❤️. A Trump hat was worn in this bar and the person who wore this hat was physically removed from the bar and assaulted. The bartender ripped a full beer out of his hand, threw it away, and told him to leave. Because of the political beliefs. And he still had to pay for the beer that was thrown away. Patrons left the bar upset and saying “Nothing was done. Why is he being removed?” For the “party” who claims peace, love, freedom, and change. You should be ashamed of how people are treated. It’s a disgrace. And there is also a video. This is no fabrication on how we were treated. The police were phenomenal and respectful but also said it was private property and we had to abide by the bartenders wishes.
My friends and I were denied entrance to the bar by security guards. They thought our IDs were fake, even though they were real, and were super rude about it. Even tried to take them! For context, my friends are 23 and I’m 25. We tried going here after taking a trip down from Pennsylvania, and we are working in professional jobs. There is no reason for us to possess fake IDs. They even asked us ridiculous questions to prove the IDs were real by asking us where we went to school. Maybe they should invest in ID scanners instead of having two jerks at the front.

Would leave no stars if possible - me and two of my friends got told we had fake IDs. We are 23. Threatened to take my license. We are also from PA. When I asked for a manager the bouncer said “I can take you” out of nowhere. Absolutely crazy . Instead of going and scanning our cards they just stood there like dummy’s with the flashlight. The other bouncer said to the other “it’s up to you”. Can’t describe how ridiculous it was.

This is a great bar if you like a nicer “dive bar” atmosphere and fresh on-the-spot squeezed orange or grapefruit crushes! Last week was our first time and we will be back!

Warning: If you're visiting from outside the country, be aware that this bar may not accept your ID without a visa, even though it's not an actual requirement for bars. My partner from Europe attempted to use his passport to enter, as he always does for bars. However, the gentleman checking ID insisted on seeing his visa, despite our explanation that his visa is embedded in the passport's chip. After some back and forth, we decided to leave. This experience was highly disappointing, and I hope the bar addresses this issue in the future.
