Went to the Crab Bag to dine in on the 2nd day of my vacation, which was friday 4/26 and ordered a 1/2 dz xlg crabs. Three of the 6 were paper thin, like soft shell and extremely light. When I told the waitress, after I paid my bill, I was told I should have said something prior. I wasn't happy but chalked it off because I've never in 40 plus years had an issue like this at the crab bag! Bigger.... problem is I went back and ordered 8 xlg crabs to go to take home with me and told the rather rude lady at the register what transpired. She told me she would inform the manager and the guy steaming the crabs and insured me it wouldn't happen again. Much to my disspleasure when I got home with the crabs I found that every single crab was paper thin and light. This after paying $96.00! I can't help but feel this was intentional and won't be going back there any time soon especially getting treated so rudely because I dared tell the staff what transpired. All I can say is diner beware!!

Very disappointing crabs. Got a dozen xlarge for carryout and every crab was very light and tasted horrible. Not one to write bad reviews but it should been known when your spending $160 on a dozen xlarge crabs. As another business owner in the town of OC this was very disappointing.

We found The Crab Bag on our quest for early-season steamed crabs and were very pleased! Quick, efficient, friendly service. The jumbo crabs were meaty and delicious, as well as the steamed shrimp which came with the restaurant week deal they had. Very happy with our experience and would certainly return again!

Had a dozen jumbo blue crabs and they were amazing and juicy !! Fresh and hot with butter ? the best crab place I’ve been to . This place is so popular, there is a little wait but it’s so worth it. Fast service and family friendly and good crabs ????? I’ll be back

We ordered for the first time and was not disappointed. The 1 1/2 large steamed crabs we ordered to go were nice size, very full and tasted great. ( our expectations werent high being late March ) We also got steamed shrimp that were also great. The folks that helped us when we showed up to pick up our order were very friendly. We are looking forward to going back.
