Fun place to go for drinks and atmosphere, but stay away from the food menu. There were 6 of us and I don’t think anyone liked their meal.

We are always down ocean city and usually stick to what we know with food. We tried something new and it was this place. It was a nice day this past Saturday and we got away from the kiddos for a couple hours for a lunch date. The atmosphere was great. We were second in line to be seated and waited just shy of 30 mins to be seated. It was just two of us mind you. Also a party of 5 that came in 15 minutes after us was seated before us as well. I told my wife let’s leave at this point but she insisted on sticking around. When we were seated it was literally the first booth on the water as we walked in that had been empty the entire time. We showed up probably almost a hour after they opened. I no longer drink alcohol but the wife enjoys a drink every once in a while and ordered some drink that was mango flavor but was red and tasted like cough syrup she said. I ordered a burger that had a mango type salsa on it and the idea of it was great. Tasted bland and almost as if it was a frozen patty from the grocery store. Our waitress was pretty good although she seemed to be overwhelmed and was literally running to get things and again wasn’t too busy. My wife wasn’t too thrilled on the crab dip and said it tasted super fishy but I put under consideration it isn’t crab season here yet.. overall I will say the property and the setup was very cool but I will not be going back!!

This restaurant its the best in Ocean City it will be forever in my heart . I worked there for 3 years and i can only say from serving to food and lets not forget about the view 😍. Food was edible, but portion sizes were small compared to their prices. I thought they must have given me a child’s size crab cake sandwich for $25. Oh and a tiny pack of tartar sauce was additional 99 cents. Bottle of beer was not cold. Paid cash, but 3 percent “misc” charge was added anyway. Another reviewer stated he was told it was for straws and napkins, etc. The burgers were not even quarter pounders, but overpriced. And they will not split a check for your table. Our party will not be back ! Ok, they do have decorations.

The service and the atmosphere was fantastic but the food was average. The alcoholic Orange Crush had so much ice that there wasn’t much left to drink especially for $19. The latest craze to add 3% to use a credit card has become irritating to say the least but De Lazy Lizard has taken it a step further. They add the 3% to your check even if you pay with cash. When I asked about this I was told it was a supply charge for napkins, straws , and other items. I cannot solicit a business that treats customers this way. It makes no sense and De Lazy Lizard has lost my business and I will be sure to share with anyone that wants to hear about my experience.

Great local place, however the service was rather slow and the cheese burger was not anything to write home about. The menu says “server medium well, juicy, and flavorful”. It was well done, no juice, and not much flavor. Tasted more like a bacon and cheese sandwich. Nice atmosphere sitting on the bay.
