This was our first time here. The food was ok, my husband & I both got the Fried chicken sandwich. I've had better elsewhere. The chips that came with the sandwich looked and tasted like they threw a bag of Lay's chips into the fryer and then added more salt to them. There were only 2 other tables with people in the place, very empty, not sure how they were staying open til 12am. The Bartender/server was very nice.

Worst crab cake I’ve ever had. Total mush. Boyfriend’s steak was waaay Over cooked. Friend’s burger with egg not cooked as asked. Waiter was non existent. Manager was too busy cleaning tables to make our drinks and would not acknowledge the sub-par quality of our food. We had reservations for 8pm And the place had very few customers. NOT BUSY AT ALL. Over all, I would never recommend this restaurant.

Open until late! Almost the only place open but the food I ordered was sweet and I am a savory kind of girl. That's all I'll say, very nice atmosphere though and clean restrooms!

We stopped in around 8:30 p.m. on a Friday night in September and were immediately seated at a table in the back bar area. Patrick was our server and he was so attentive. He let us stay and finish our bottle of wine even though we were the last table in that section. Shout out to Lisa who is so friendly and fun. Thanks for a great dinner!

One drink, key lime sour. Very good along with a Henry McKenna. Bartender super friendly. It was a slow night.

Has to be within the top 3 burgers of my life. Atmosphere is a cool rustic vibe. Staff are knowledgeable about their menu and drink offerings. Ordered the 85 burger with truffel fries. Little on the pricier side but I'd say you get an adequate amount of food for the price. Also, our waiter was awesome, excellent drink choice, excellent service.

Overhalt advertised open weekends opening at 7. Went there last nite after 7, hostess which we could barely undertake says it was only open in July
Whats up with that

Saturday 10.13, the restaurant door is still closed. No one is inside. Is this called customer service?

Edit: Came here again recently, Patrick seemed exasperated and like taking care of us was a chore. The fried chicken sandwich was dry, and when I said something about it, I was told he’d tell the chef, but nothing came of that. I went through 4 Diet Cokes trying to eat half of that sandwich. In the end, that’s all I could do. I asked for it to be taken off the bill, and he gave me a hard time about it. I’d understand if it was flavor preference, but if that was how the chicken was supposed to be, I feel sorry for anyone else who orders it. Patrick, I know customer service sucks but don’t take it out on me.

Old Review:

Great selection of whiskey and bourbon, staff was friendly and helpful, and some very unique dishes. Was a laid back atmosphere and much needed break from the hustle and bustle. Try the ribs!

My husband and I both agreed that this place should be packed all the time, as the service is friendly and professional and the food is excellent! My husband had the St. Louis-style ribs with blueberry barbecue sauce, truly original and a taste sensation. My vodka cocktail had a subtly sweet hint of sage topped by a surprising and surprisingly delicious creamy topping made from celery fennel and honey that I sipped very slowly to make last. My salmon on bed of greens with a perfectly matched vinaigrette was fresh and tasty. The first time we came to Dry85 earlier in the summer, we partook of their impressive whiskey selection by ordering the flight of Scottish whiskeys, which also did not disappoint. Overall, we both agree that the thoughtful and sophisticated menu choices coupled with their chef's skilled execution and quality ingredients should put Dry85 near the top of the Eastern Shore's culinary scene. Its location in central OC, under the looming shadow of the Seacrets mega-verse, though, would make it difficult for anyone, however worthy, to compete. I sure hope that the folks at Dry85 can hang in there for years to come, because they are offering something that is sorely needed in this bustling beach town drowning in Crushes, shrimp tacos and chicken quesadillas.

The scalloped potatoes were absolutely disgusting! It tasted like it came straight out of a box. The rest of our dinner was very mediocre. Our fries were dry, like how the heck did they do that??? I would recommend speding your money else where. The staff was friendly and the restaurant itself wasn’t bad, but the food needs improving.

A rare ocean side establishment, you know upon entering that DRY 85 will be an elevated experience. Traditional cocktails and more, expertly mixed and served in fine glassware provide an enjoyable experience.

Great place! Stopped in for a late lunch on a rainy day at the beach. Got the Blue Cheese Burger and Fries which was cooked perfectly. Washed it down with a couple of Manhattans. Service is a little slow but for good quality food, it’s worth the wait. I’ll be back.

Called and was told they could accommodate a large party for brunch. After waiting ten minutes we were sat. We then waited another 30 mins for someone to take our order. It was another 45 mins - an HOUR before we got our food and only half of us got food while the rest of us had to wait for ours. The food wasn’t good and came out literally cold. The prosciutto also smelled ROTTEN. Only 1 server working in the entire restaurant ? Horrible service. Would not come back.
