Dumser’s definitely has a retro, throw-back feel to it. The service was very friendly, prices are reasonable, and the servings are large. However, the I’ve cream itself was a bit of a let down. The peanut butter fudge was not very flavorful, and the mint Oreo was ok. But both were pretty icy and not very creamy. Though the soft serve did look very good. With so many other options in the area, we would probably look elsewhere next time.

Without a doubt, this is the best ice cream spot in Ocean City. Though there are several locations, including one on the boardwalk, this particular shop stands out for its exceptional service and expertise. The staff is plentiful and efficient, and the open windows help keep the lines moving swiftly. The single scoop portions are generously sized, which is definitely a plus! However, I did find the shakes to be excessively thick for sipping through a straw. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I realized I probably should have opted for a spoon. Despite this minor hiccup, the quality of the ice cream was superb, and I would still highly recommend this place.

For years hubby and I have been enjoying Dumsers soft serve ice cream cones when visiting Ocean City. We were really surprised the other night when we saw the prices of the small soft serve ice cream cones… One small cone is now over $5! It’s similarly priced to the regular ice cream cone, which was never the case before. Two small cones of soft serve came to over $13 with tip. Yikes! It’s hard to spend that much money on soft serve when Chick Fila charges $2.09 for a cone of soft serve. The one or two scoop sundaes seem to be a better deal.
