The doughnuts are good, but they charge $3 to use a credit card on a $12 half-dozen order and $18 dozen order, which end up being %25 and about %16.7 percent, respectively. Most places that charge a credit card fee use 3-4%, so charging an incredibly high flat $3 on something that can easily be calculated to an exact partial dollar amount feels incredibly dishonest. Again, the doughnuts are good, but I don't return to businesses that engage in such practices.
Edit in response from owner: I visited the 127th St location a month ago (Aug '24), and couldn't remember if the half-dozen/dozen prices were $12/$18 or $13/$19. Either way, I 100% remember the sign saying $3 fee for credit card. I paid cash that day. So either the 127th St location is scamming customers, or whoever wrote the sign doesn't know the difference between $ and %.

OK, they're donuts are good but basic and at $2 per donut I'm expecting more, like a Duck donuts type of donut opportunity. The $3 charge for 1/2 dozen donuts to use a credit card is absurd. Not a good value for money, can get equal or better for same or better price and no credit card charge.

The customer service was very uncomfortable and awkward. Walked in and immediately got pressured on what to order while we just walked in. Feeling pressured instead of welcoming and mid donut

Love me some cake donuts and these did not disappoint. Like a lot of places these days, if you pay in cash you don’t get charged for using a card. Will definitely be back with my cash!!

Incredible Mojo
The shop feels dirty and disorganized. About 10 minutes after we ordered, the staff said the person who made the batter left and the batter he made was "garbage". So they had to remake the batter. We ordered a sandwich which took 15 more minutes and there we only three groups there and it was lukewarm and no taste. The Prune used to be great, honestly, this Prune is pathetic.

We grabbed breakfast this morning from the Fractured Prune and it was delightful! We ordered a Banana Bread, French Toast, Blueberry Hill, and Trail Mix donuts. They all were great, served nice and warm, and wasn't too sweet! We also had breakfast sandwiches from there. If you love donuts, this is paradise for donut lovers!! ?

Wow. Great warm cake donuts with a million topping choices. They make them while you wait. I am a basic chocolate covered cake guy, and this was incredible. Small seating area on the sidewalk, complete with a bowl of water for my pup. Great start to the morning!!
