We had not been here in many years. The place has gotten even nicer than I remember. They have a very nice roomy outside and inside bar with plenty of seats. But get there early as they pack them in, even in the off season. The drinks are reasonably prices and food was awesome.

The food was okay. The atmosphere was great. They definitely need to Get organized. We walked into the place. 3 couples walked in in front of us, and it took us 15 minutes to put our names in and it was not that busy. What are the most important parts of a busy restaurant?Is greeting the customer and getting them on the list and moving them to the bar. Much of the staff seemed to be wandering around with no direction or half hazardly doing their jobs. One of the people at our table had dropped a fork, and we literally tried to catch the bus boy several times and he just walked right by us to the point where we had to go get our own. Walking back from the bathroom. A waiter placed a tray stand directly in front of me and placed a tray on it, cutting off the path to the point that I had to walk around half the restaurant to get back to my table.For the record, I have about 30 years front of house experience In an extremely high volume restaurant.
Well, let's just say CODY made it fun, and the food was phenomenal and drinks as well. See you again in September 2024. Forgot to take pic's. We had so much fun reconnecting with friends.

Oysters were very good. Crab soup was too salty for my taste. The seasonal vegetables were just plain steamed broccoli, which was not flavorful. Burger looked good and my kid ate that. Crab crakes were OK. Server was very nice. Atmosphere was fun.

Great service. Quick, friendly and not too chatty. Seafood bisque was just plain bad! Way too much salt! Got the chicken Chesapeake. Egh… it was ok. Baked potato & broccoli were good. Beer was cold. Little loud if you want to have a normal conversation with people at your own table. Not the worst, but not sure we would go back.Parking: It’s tight.

Can't say enough! Our bartender Travis was amazing. We were at a table & he still had lots of others to keep up with but he kept us happy! Food was exceptional. Ate looking at the water. Place was clean & worth it. You gotta go & try it!
