Luckily had a parking spot right by the door. Had someone walk out to hold the door open before we hit the stairs leading up. Was lead immediately to our table on the outside porch. BRING A SWEATER LADIES. They stressed online during reservations about this due to the breeze and temperature of 7pm of nature by the water to enjoy the sunset. Our waiter was Luke. He was amazing. Explained the menu to us, friendly and professional. Also a side "photographer" around 730pm ?
Sitting on the porch, it's 5 tables of only 2. Very private settings but also very romantic and personal.
I ordered Hunter's Chicken. The sauce reminded me of a teriyaki like. VERY GOOD! My Husband got the filet topped with lump crab meat. Everything was perfect.

Absolutely the best restaurant in the entire eastern shore. A spectacular setting, outstanding food, great service, and an owner who cares about his customers.
Absolutely amazing place to eat, my girlfriend and I had Stone as our waiter, awesome personality and amazing service! All food was absolutely amazing! Very high end, very clean, will be returning every vacation ?? also AMAZING
Bread sucked. The cobb&beet were okay. Steak was good but was trying too hard to be interesting. Salmon dish was bland. Crab cake was okay but slightly undercooked. Overall pretty disappointing for a $250 meal for two. My recommendation is to slim down the menu and focus on perfecting fewer things.

My experience was amazing. My server was great, pleasant, and professional.
I went there for the first time with my girlfriend. It was absolutely amazing! One of the best meals of my life, and the atmosphere was great. The staff was tremendous, and could not have been more accommodating and professional. Would decently recommend to anyone looking for a nice classy date night.

This place is fabulous! Being a foodie, I was shocked to find this place since I’m always looking for really good food. I don’t think there is much in Ocean City, but this place is it! It’s a gem!
First, the ambiance is the best in the city. It faces the bay so it has beautiful views out of big windows. Second,y, the service was also great - polite and attentive.
Most importantly, the food was delicious and satisfying. I ordered a crab stack appetizer, which had a lovely flavor with the crabmeat, avocado, and a tangy gazpacho sauce served with large chips. My entree of halibut special was great with a flavorful but not too heavy butter sauce.
Yay! A great find in Ocean City! Hail to the owner and staff!

This was our first time dining at the Hobbit and I have to say it was one of the best experiences we have had in quite some time! The food was spectacular and our waiter, Vern, was patient, knowledgeable and extremely friendly! We sat outside on the patio taking our time soaking up the beautiful weather and views. This is a “must try” place and experience… you will not be disappointed ?

Host sat us at the bar for the best creme’ brulee and chocolate martini pair. Both were amazing. Delicious end to the evening. Server Luke was accommodating and informative. Desert was creamy and well presented. The martini was too notch. Come in for a nightcap.
Outstanding meal (the best of the best of Ocean City) with a beautiful backdrop of the setting sun on the water. This is fine dining, excellent unhurried service, and creative meals and cocktails. The crab cakes are not to be missed!
