This place was awesome! They have an all you can eat corn on the cob, shrimp, and crab dinner.... it's not bad price wise, so eat up! It's fun place, great view of the bay and a lot of seating!

One of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of going too. The environment, the decor, the location, its all amazing. The story behind the restaurant its self is also amazing, and id definitely recommend reading it. Also just a tip, try the Jamaican jerk swordfish, you wont regret it 👍

We don't get to OCMD very often but have always wanted to try Hoopers. On our most recent trip, we decided to hit them up for dinner. I had the trio (lobster, scallops and shrimp), my son had the steak, and my wife had the all you can eat broil. We also tried the crab pretzel and smoked wings. The crab pretzel was amazing. The smoked wings were decent, not much smoke but skin was crisp. The steak was just OK, about what you would expect at an Applebees, with about the same mashed potato scoop and green beans. The trio was a joke. It had the smallest piece of lobster with 3 small scallops and a few shrimp. The broil was about the best, not because of quality, but because at least you could find something you like and get more. It wasn't that the food was bad, it just felt like Applebees quality for 3x the price. I get that OCMD is a tourist trap so I'm sure that factors in. Also, while we were there, a photographer was going around taking pictures. They got a picture of our group and moved on. A while later, they came back with prints that we could purchase. I wasn't interested but my wife fealt obligated since they already had them printed out (I know, I know). The photographer said $40 for the 3 pictures. Somehow that turned to $45 when I went to swipe my card, then I didn't see a place to decline tip so the total went up to around $60. In total, we spent around $300 for two adults and a child with no alcohol. I have no problem paying for quality, and I realize that it was our choice to eat at Hoopers, our choice of the food we selected, and our choice to pay for the photos. We can finally cross this one off of our todo list, however, I can assure you we won't be back. There are much better restaurants in OCMD.

Loved our waitress, Kenna, she is the best. We had a party of 11 and she was above superb! The food was very delicious. We took a pontoon out on the water and took a chance at eating here. What a great decision! We really liked Greg, the photographer!

TERRIBLE customer service! Couldn’t understand it until our bill came with the tip included! No wonder she didn’t care!!! When reaching out to customer service that evening they simply responded “Suggestion:next time talk to a manager” instead of addressing my concerns or apologizing. No I was not going to spoil our night by asking for a manager and complaining in front of my family! Adding that my moms scallops were raw and crabs were watery and light.
