Amazing food!
Liquid Assets is owned by the same restaurant group as Our Harvest, one of our favorites in the North Bethany Beach/Fenwick area. The atmosphere is a restaurant inside a liquor store with a cozy stone wall back room with lots of old books. The overall feeling is if you are eating at a friends house. There are always interesting and friendly patrons at the bar and the staff is completely professional. The food here is seasonal with classics such as steak tartar and crabcakes. Recently, we had a Wagyu New York strip special with truffle butter and frites and the kale salad, which has crispy bits of ham, topped with grilled shrimp. Grilled shrimp can be dry and taste like the seasoning, but these were perfectly cooked and juicy, and the salad portion was so large it didn’t even look like a dent was made. In season this is a very popular place so if you have a larger party do be prepared to wait, but it’s worth it!
The food and service was so great, one of the best Caesar salads I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is kind of like a pirates cove feel, which made me a little reluctant to try, but I am so glad I did
Restaurant is very well put together for a place that doubles as a liquor store. Food was absolutely fantastic and our server was very attentive and quick with our orders. The oyster Rockefeller was awesome and my steak was cooked perfectly. My family's meals were very good as well, and based on scanning the restaurant, all the food looked amazing. We will definitely be coming back for more.
It's always a challenge going out for a bite to eat in OC in the off season as you never know what you are going to get. After reading reviews and looking at menus, I decided to check out Liquid Assets and what a great decision that turned out to be. Walking in alone, I was quickly greeted by Kyle and Joe at the bar and directed to an open seat at the bar. After a brief run down of the drink offerings, I asked for a beer and they recommended a local brew that did not disappoint. Before I had a chance to look at the menu, Kyle brought over a specials menu which was both amazing and overwhelming, and this was just the special menu, as the regular menu pretty much covered every palette imaginable. Interested in the 2 fish options, I asked Kyle for his recommendation and without hesitation, he suggested the Pan Seared Monkfish with which I went and He was not wrong. It came out beautifully presented and was probably the best fish dish I've experienced. Alrhough the fish was cooked perfectly, the star of the dish was how it was presented and everything else it was served with. I went out with an open mind and I was wowed by the experience. Rare do you find stellar staff and 5 star meals but on April 7th, 2025, I did in a town full of less than stellar options. Thanks to locals who care about what they do and who they work for and to Liquid Assets for making OC MD better. cheers.
Very happily surprised by the service, food, cocktails and wine. I will definitely return!

Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants on the eastern shore. We’ve been here a million times, can’t believe I never left them a review! This place is so great that it was a deciding factor when we purchased our beach house in Ocean City a few years ago due to the proximity. Keep doing what you’re doing folks, it’s always a joy spending time in all of your establishments!
One and only one request - Please start taking reservations 🙏 I think everyone would appreciate this.

This was an interesting place suggested by a local. It is a very nice restaurant sitting in the middle of a liquor store. I know that sounds like bad atmosphere, but it really worked. They have a wide selection of drinks, and you can even go pull your own bottle of wine off the shelf and they will charge you an extra $10 for corking fee. We decided to try a variety of their signature cocktails, and enjoyed every single one of them. The charcuterie board menu was almost overwhelming, so we just went with a special for the day and then shared three appetizers and two desserts, and left stuffed. It wasn't cheap, but definitely a good experience for a night out.

Really disappointed with this place. The food was mediocre but that wasn't the true low point. One of the cocktails was undrinkably sweet and after my mid-20s daughter took one sip she knew it would be her last. She politely inquired as to whether she could swap it out for a less-sweet one, or have it removed from the bill, or even *discounted*, something. Hard no on all fronts. My other daughter was there too - and they are both professional servers who see first-hand how common it is to comp something that a diner sends back. They were both stunned. They ordered and ate several appetizers (so it's not like one drink was a big part of the overall check) and the drink was 99% full - my daughter wasn't trying to pull a fast one. The drink was a total sugar bomb and she just wanted another one, to actually enjoy, instead. The server was having none of it, as if we were sending just the stripped bone back on a $60 steak and saying, "Didn't like it. Please take it off the check." Yeah, we paid for the drink we didn't drink, but the unpleasant taste of Liquid ASS still lingers in our mouths over this shabby treatment.
